  • Man..this journalist is so fucking annoying.fucking asshole.

  • if we weren't meant to eat cows they wouldn't barbecue so nicely

  • That journalist needs a nice backhand to the face. Ignorant piece of crap!!! Keith Mann is my hero <3

  • hero

  • try focusing on the crippling conditions of the working class instead of freeing a few fucking rabbits

    liberal bullshit

  • @captainawesomo1 Oh buhu poor humans... humans have a voice, the animals don't. And the oppression inflicted upon them is far worse.

  • @seraph101 so youd equate the "plight" of animals on a same level as genocide then?

  • I cant believe that he asked pro-animal or anti-human...shit head

  • ALF IS THE MOST WORHT WHILE CAUSE ALF = JUSTICE FOR ANIMALS

  • Hasnt he got the brain capacity to understand ANYTHING Keith said??? Thank goodness there are millions worldwide that do understand!

  • Jeez I got soo fed up of the interviewer repeatedly butting in when Keith has very important things to say that the pubklic need to know about!!!

  • this "reporter" is a total and utter complete biased prat

  • @patteel, fruitcake?? really i take it your a coward pasifist! at least keith has the balls to make a change without hurting another soul, next you will tell me buildings feel pain !

  • cancer is caused by cancer... by the smoke around us.. and the newsagents are sellin it. why should animals get killed because of what's beng sold, and because someone likes the taste of a fag, and even though you don't smoke, you stand with them, and ooh you have cancer?

lets kill some more animals, steal peoples money, and put it into a shopddy research charity, and try to cure you.

    not happening mate

  • keith sounds like karl pilkington

  • This guy is a fruitcake. Change laws don't break them.

  • @patteel In Nazi Germany, the Holocaust was perfectly legal. Are you saying Germans who opposed what was going on should have fought for legal reform, instead of breaking the law to do what's right?

  • So much for neutrality on the BBC, eh?

  • Good for him, I'm glad he did all that stuff to everyone who deserved it. The interviewer seems very ignorant.

  • ginger tosser.

  • The interviewer looks like the thin version of kelsey grammer a.k.a Frasier!

  • Go Keith Mann, he rules.

  • Gladdis hammond led a very highly lavish lifestyle of the back of animal torture

  • Keith is a truly moral man! A rare think alas . . .

  • Keith is answering all the questions perfectly. What a strong individual to have gone through all of this time with the struggle and the court cases and prison. A.L.F. for life !

  • This person is nothing more than a criminal.

Keith Mann obviously has mental health issues.

    Explosive devices?

    Doctors killing patients prematurely?

    Digging up Gladys Hammond's body?

    He deserves another 7 years.

He can't present a cohereant argument to any of the questions put to him.

  • keith mann is a legend!!!!

    ALF=COMPASSION!

  • Yes, he is!

  • Oh i'd love to personally kill all the ALF

DEATH TO THE ALF!! LONG LIVE HUMANITY!!

  • Shithead, go to hell.

  • ladies first

  • cunt

  • ur not worth to be considered human scum

  • no, that would be your mother

  • Another piece of biased shit by the media. The ALF NEVER hurt or killed anyone whilst corporations are engaging in legal animal abuse. People are sentenced to lengthy prison sentences for showing some compassion. Justice is blind.

  • if you don't like it then leave the country

  • Lol, I'm not even IN the country. I'm somewhere else right now. Unfortunately, the situation is worse here.

  • "morally" bad things must happen for overall change, its disgusting that there are sooo many ignorant people about, but i have sympathy as the people in power are their because of their hunger, and greed for profits... respect to keith... the media wont support ALF regardless of if their methods are ethical or unethical, theres no money in it...

  • Comment removed

  • Explosives! Are you mad?

  • Correction: Where I said Keith Mann below I meant Stephen Sackur the reporter. The reporter was completely incompetent. Too much multitasking.

  • I can't believe how incompetent Keith Mann is here. He misrepresents Peter Singer so badly that it would have to be deliberate if it weren't for the fact that Keith obviously hasn't read Singer. He also insinuates that animal liberation advocates who disagree with Singer are somehow very extremist or irrational, as if there weren't many pro-animal liberation philosophers who disagree with Singer.

  • I'm pro animal liberation, and just like every other person who I know who is pro animal liberation, we do NOT like Mr. Singer. He is not even for animal liberation, he's a fraud. It hurts my feelings beyond belief.

When it comes to Animal Liberation, it's people like Gary Francione who actually advocate for it.

Keith did excellent in this interview, depite the fact that the media was very biased and unfair towards him. Keith spoke clearly, logically, and kindly. <3

  • As long as the ALF use illegal methods to protest they will never be given the media attention they need. If they were able to evolve their methods they will start to attract the majority of the population, and bring this important issue into the mainstream where it needs to be.

  • ALF/ELF... once again showing that they aren't idiotic morons (like this little piece of shit reporter). What they say makes sense, they have the people, the brains, the ideas, and the capacity to act. Of course they will be arrested, of course Black Block kids will get arrested, of course serious proesters will get beaten up and massacred in hidden away places.

It's simple, they DO make a difference, they DO matter to power.

    Keep up the fight!

  • That journalist is a joke. Bankrupt, default arguments.

  • Brilliant, once again Keith you held your ground during an arguement with a fool who knows nothing! You're an inspiration, thank you xxx

  • What was that interview about.. Typical British Bullshit Corporation. No matter how many times Kieth brought up the issue all he did was talk about thier actions. The bbc make themselves look fools again

  • The interviewer is such a morron...!:O

at least SOME people tr to change awful things

  • By doing awful things? This country is a democracy. If parliament isn't interested that is because the people aren't interested. A lack of popular support is not a licence for direct action.

  • Awful things in my opinion is torturing crimeless individuals.. I'm willing to kill to stop it and anyone who doesn't agree can frankly eat shit.

  • Keith brilliantly stated his piece quietly and clearly.

A sincere gent who eloquently speaks for the animals being tortured to their deaths in research labs.

    With much respect,

    cd

  • Oh now it is playing. Grazie!

  • Why was this taken down?

  • "the daughter of the old lady said that the people who did this (held the remains of the old lady for ransom to prevent breeding of guinea pigs for torture) aren't human beings. How could any human being do something this gruesome?"

HELLOOOO, is torturing guinea pigs not gruesome!? What am I missing here?

It baffles me that people who torture, maim, exploit, and abuse other living things have the NERVE to complain when it comes back on them in the slightest way.

    That "family" deserves worse.

  • "targeted 100's of (proven torturous/cruel vivisection) research labs, (exploitation) farms, and (sadistic) individuals associated THEY say (oh right, only "they", emphasis on the "they" to make it seem less real) with the abuse of animals."

ASSOCIATED with the abuse of animals? If associated with abuse is synonymous with directly torturing an innocent feeling being, then yes I suppose that "associated with the abuse" describes it.

  • Keith really puts him in his place. He's very reasonable and mature through the entire unfair antagonizing interview. The interviewer doesn't get his point not that *all* the drugs don't work (though a number of them don't), but that the animal testing is not what makes them work. Either that or the interviewer is sidestepping it because he knows Keith made the winning point.

It takes a certain amount of delusion NOT to understand that the corps and gov are obviously in a giant conspiracy.

  • "are you pro-animal or anti-human"

    Neither, i'm pro-life.

  • this interviewer is a fucking idiot.

  • eh how? o_O every interview i've seen him do he's studied and spoken passionately about the subject. I see no idiot.

  • They were for causing fires for raising issues for raising fires for causing fires to raise issues. Now it all makes sense!! What, was the interviewer braindead??

  • In democracies there are ways to raise issues which don't involve criminal damage. Criminal direct action cannot be justified except in a state where there is no legitimate way to express dissent. Do you get flung in prison for making YouTube videos or wearing T-shirts? I think not.

Grow up you self-righteous arseholes. Grow up and accept that you are a minority and you don't and won't rule.

  • There's a problem with that. Legitimate protest doesn't accomplish the goal of shutting down torture facilities.

  • Legitimate protest doesn't rid Britain of Muslims or end abortion or introduce boiling in oil for child killers either. The point of legitimate protest is to protest and to get your voice heard. There is no right to create change by protest.

  • There's another problem. The opinion of the animals isn't considered in the democracy. There's another problem.. nonviolent protesters can be jailed under Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act. There is no incentive to be non-violent now.

  • You can protest peacefully in a non-threatening way, but you won't do that because it doesn't make you feel cool and radical. Instead you will take extreme action you know will further alienate public opinion, because they don't like you you don't like them. Them being the majority of humanity.

Animals can't vote. You can't decide that you are the only people who can think about what their opinions would be.

  • @Psychowanker When has that done shit

  • @cardboarddalek You are not entitled to force your ideas upon the world. The world thinks you are dangerous nutters, and we're not wrong.

  • @Psychowanker Lol I'm not a member of the ALF, and I think that as long as animals are dispatched of as quickly and humanely as possible after any adverse effects are shown then it can occasionally be justified to test on animals for the development of potentially life- saving drugs. What I mean to say is that I don't object to any action the ALF puts into place and I respect them very much.

  • @SleepySkeptic welcome to the world of irish republicans, i presume you also support our right to resist opression by the state? and the right of anti imperialisst to use force?

  • "If were not going to respect the weakest and most vunerable in our society how are we ever going to respect each other?" so true.

  • great for one getting this online!! i had been trying to before but couldn't...

    until all are free!
