Clio 172 0-60 6.9 secs as per Which car magazine Road test

The only time a clio 172 will beat in Impreza Turbo Gc8 is maybe if you throw it off a cliff. So clearly in this case the Subaru driver didn't know he was supposed be racing or is a spastic.

dont speak about that you dont know really...

1- the time you give for a stock Clio 2 RS 172hp is not for a 0-60 mph but for 0-100 kmh thus for a real 0-62.14 mph ^^

2- You forget the most important thing for a short run : THE RATIO WEIGHT/POWER

& nothing is say about that for the Clio RS here no ?

3- Thus a Clio 2 RS1 light could made 5.1s for 0-100 kmh thus even less of 5s for your 0-60 mph & thus win a short run like that vs a most powerfull Impreza...

After it is sure that the power engine and the turbo of an Impreza can play for her ^^

The "ideal car" for that would be to posed a turbo on a Clio 2 RS1 ^^

1)Don't a pedantic, we all know whats what here.

2)The equal most important thing actually is traction and how it gets the power down, And the front wheel drive clio can't evben compete with a four wheel drive car.

3)This isn't a clio RS1 light, even if it was the 0-60 time is NOT 5.1 secs, more like over 6.6 secs according to Renault.

And a STOCK impreza WR1 does 0-60 in 4.1 secs so the clio is slower full stop, and my previous comment stands.

the video on the result 5.1s & others run is about MY own Clio 2 RS1 that I know perfectly you imagine...

And it is well a Clio 2 RS1 2.0L 16V 172hp who made that...

But this weight is very light especially to compare a stock Impreza

960 to 965kg about with 10L of fuel, the gearbox is with short gears & Sport air filter (ITG) & Sport exhaust after cata (INOXLINE) BUT stock engine

& YES on a short run all this give that & its better than an Impreza WRX stock for example

I practise the excercise IRL since 20 years now (im 42 old)...

for your culture for another example, a friend to me with a "simply" Citroen AX Sport but mod ^^ about 150hp made better than me on a short run (for the moment cause the mods of my Clio are not over ^^)

yes a simply AX Sport 150hp will win vs "your" stock Impreza on a short run 0-60 or maybe even 0-100 mph know me !!

If you want to talk about "could go 0-60 in 5.1 secs" for the clio, then the best impreza do go 0-60 in under 3 secs and the new stock Impreza STi Cosworth off the garage forecourt is 0-60 in 3.6 seconds.

So not ever in a million years can a clio be tuned for more performance than an Impeza can be tuned.

So, either there is something wrong with the driver or Impreza, or you are comparing heavily modified with stock which is nonsense in itself.

Clio RS 153 Hp arabadır. Subaru belki basmıyor olabilir. Fakat bu arabanın subaru ile kafa kafaya gittiğini biliyorum. Stock olmayabilir CLio.

clio's is nothing but a HEAP OF SHIT's. either that scooby was a NON TURBO sport at 150bhp which it more than likely was... Or it wasn running tidy. the clio would have to have at LEAST 230BHP to become close to a scooby. i used to own a WRX and i used to KILL a clio 172 off the mark and top end and that was only a crummy 260bhp.

you cant even hear the turbo or c the acceleration on that scooby

@welshhotbabe24 your on the glue,a clio sport pulls away from a standard uk turbo or standard wrx,you heard of power to weight ratio, av had both a 260 bhp wrx and yes it beat  clio sports,a had a clio cup and beat uk turbo's. and as for sayin its not a turbo fuckin listen to it,you ever heard a impreza sport they sound nothing like that, go and get a shot of a clio sport and then come back to me to tell me they aint quick.

Not so fast. A WRX is about 300 kg heavier than a WRX. I raced one from a stop light to about 100 and was nearly as fast as the Subi. In terms of handling the Clio is also better than the Subi.
