Well done Lord Dartmouth, that law is one of EU's most evil pieces of legislation, it's plain wrong. It the kind of thing that makes you want to stop paying taxes, if your own government won't protect you abuse by foreigners then what are they there for?
I have no direct knowledge at all, nor any facts, but I hear that it was concerning a timeshare that had financial problems, and that it was for a relatively small amount of money.
In the UK that would be simply a civil matter, not something involving months in prison in a foreign country.
Say it with me now:
I will not cooperate with, acknowledge or in any way lend credibility to the EU.

Dartmouth is my favourite MEP. I am really pleased at how well he has done since he was elected. He is a great asset to UKIP.
