Capcom did the same thing with Dino Crisis, the screen fades out before it shows Regina getting eaten. Thankfully with the power of code modification it's usually possible to remove the fade out and see the full animations. I've uploaded the uncensored aforementioned Dino Crisis deaths, and I'm searching for Resident Evil 3's code to upload deaths like these only uncensored.
