  • Non-sequitur.

  • did you know that the nickname the developers gave to Wheatley while he was on GLaDOS body is WheatDOS ?

  • The best part of this song is how corrupt some parts of the song sound, like "This is end, it's all or nothing, you screw up here, it's the end of all of us"

  • Wheatley's 4 part plan has 5 parts...

He really IS a moron! Anybody can count the alphabet.

  • @PSISpecter

    lolwut

  • @crabfight And that's how Equestria was made!

  • @PSISpecter Count the alphabet? Was.... was that intentionally ironic?

  • @Ericzhanger It was meant as a joke. Don't understand how people think I'm serious.

  • @PSISpecter Okay, sorry, just checking. :P

  • @Craft2Use Part 8: BOOBIES

  • People say that the composer for Portal should've done Portal 2. I disagree. There were far too many dead-silent locations in Portal, and plus, the music in Portal 2 fits the situations much better anyway.

  • 4 part plan is this:

    1: no portal surfaces

    2: start the neurotoxin immediately

3: bomb proof shields for me

4: bombs, for throwing at you

    (about 7-8 minutes later)

PART FIVE! BOOBYTRAP THE STALEMATE BUTTON!

  • @thegameplayingfreak5 Well Chell would have found a way around it if he said it was a five part plan wouldn't she.

  • @thegameplayingfreak5 7-8 minutes? The building would self-destruct within six.

  • @StraightFlame1 Did you notice that if your under 1 minute, and you put the 2nd core on, it resets to 2 minutes? Derp

  • @thegameplayingfreak5 Did you notice it's still six minutes story-wise and nobody'd take that long to put the second core on?

  • Part six: BOOBY TRAP THE DISLIKE BUTTON

  • @jz13z Part 7 : BOOBY TRAP THE POWER UP BUTTON

  • "Are you still alive? Oh, for-- Well, I'm still in control! AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS PLACE!"

  • From 0:16 sounds like "YOU'RE SO FU**ING SCREWED!" But from 2:33 and 3:42 sounds a much more sadder and desperate. That song is awesome.

  • I see this track like this:

    0:00-016 is load up time

0:17-1:38 is wheatley playing epic battle music

1:39-2:20 wheatley gets hit by bomb and the sound of the facility can be heard

    2:21-2:33 Rebooting musical orgasm

2:34-3:15 Epic music plays but seems more desperate in a way.

3:16-3:54 Again facility can be heard but alarm sound can be heard

3:55-4:23 Epic music can only just be heard over facility

    4:24 Rinse and repeat.

  • @TheDji33 u might wanna redo this. some parts are off

  • @TheDji33 you forgot:

    5:49 hit the replay button!!!

  • Wheatley is a moron, his four part plan had five parts...

  • @TimeTheftProductions

Actually, that's pretty smart - he referenced Douglas Adams! :D

  • Such epic sadness at 2:34. From there on I like this song the best. ALL HAIL APERTURE!

  • @Luigifan876 It doesn't really sound sad at all. It evinces sinister intent.

  • Four part plan is this.

    1: No portal surfaces

    2: Start the neurotoxin immediately

    3: Bomb-proof shields for me

    Leading directly to...

4: Bombs for throwing at you.

  • The weirdest thing happened to me while I was watching this.

I was listening to the the last part of the song when, strange enough, I SMELLED CAKE!!!

    WTF IS WRONG WITH ME?!?

  • Comment removed

  • @anEZtarget PROBLEM, anEZtarget?

  • @anEZtarget

after reading your comment, while hearing the song, i eated cake...

  • I love this theme, but I preferred GLaDOS's fight in the first game. She also had better "boss banter" than Wheatley.

  • I lost the game.

  • @Mrekanietrie ....You suck.

  • 2:34 Why do I always get a slight sense of empathy for Wheatley at this bloody part of the song?

  • @kumboliyou Up until that point, I noticed the song just sounds plainly ominous, but from then on, it gets sadder and more hopeless sounding. Might just be me, but I think it seems sadder from 2:34 onward on purpose.

  • @kumboliyou Because this is around the time when he is like YOU DIDNT CATCH ME! I COULD HAVE DIED FALLING OFF THAT RAIL BUT YOU DIDNT CARE!!!

  • @kumboliyou because that's around the part of the fight when his whole calm, menacing act starts to drop and he starts saying things like "You never caught me, you knew I might die if I fell and you didn't catch me. I bet you two have been in it together from the start, haven't you?", and etc. That's the part where you're supposed to feel bad about the fact that you're fighting him.

That, and because the music around that point starts to sound sad and more bleak.

  • PART 5 BOOBY TRAP THE STALEMATE BUTTON.

  • The perfect theme music for an epic no-gravity sword battle in space.

  • @dezzierose No. The perfect theme for fighting an insane, nigh invincible Robot in a gigantic underground facility that is falling apart and exploding.

  • This theme is so good, I'm gonna give you a sporting chance and turn off the neurotoxin!

    I'm joking, of course. Goodbye.

  • Well, well, well. Welcome to MY LAIR! Lemme just flag something up: According to the control panel light up there, the entire building's going to self destruct in about six minutes. Pretty sure it's a problem with the light. I think the light's on the blink. But just in case it isn't, I actually am going to have to kill you. As discussed earlier.

  • Wheatley dislikes this video from space.

  • Mom: "Hey, what are you doing with those bombs?"

Me: "I just gotta throw them at somebody."

Mom: "Why? What did they do?"

Me: "They disliked a Portal 2 boss theme."

Mom: "May i see some of those?"

  • It sounds sad, in an insane, nothing-to-lose-and-we're-going-to-die-in-six-to-twelve-minutes kind of way. The callback to I AM NOT A MORON lets you know that he still may be in there somewhere, but its too fast, reminding you that you don't have time to sift through all the craziness to get to it. You have to shoot him into space, no matter how much or little you actually want to.

  • Played this while brother was on XBox, crashed game. HE MAD?

  • When Wheatley pumped in the neurotoxin, I was thinking... "Wait, didn't we destroy the supply of that crap?"

  • @GirLuffer Just step over the plot hole, And listen to the music.

  • @GirLuffer

But Wheatley watched us destroy it. So he knows that it was destroyed. Which means, he had plenty of time to repair it while we were getting stuck in the tests in Chapter 8.

  • As good as this song is, it almost sounds boring........ just because it sounds so empty without Wheatley's ranting XD

3:40 to 4:13 is amazing! I love the I AM NOT A MORON melody.

  • @ColinEmerald ya. u can hear it in "Dont Do It", "The Courtesy Call", "Wheatley Science", "TEST", "The Part Where He Kills You" and "Omg What Has He Done?"

  • @Mrcryptidsarereal I know you can, I just really remember it as the Moron song because that's one of my favorites, and the first part where I picked up the melody

  • @ColinEmerald have u realized that this was also in "You Know Her"

  • Thanks for the recs. I was thinking more along the lines of music besides from Portal though.

  • 1 person had bombs thrown at him in part 4

  • In the background of all the spazz attack music, you can hear the incinerator room music going super speed. You can hear it real good at 1:12. Thumbs up if you can tell!

  • @OperonTechnologies you can also hear the main part from 'I am not a moron' but remixed at around 3:00-3:14

  • Can anyone direct me to more instrumental music like this? I love the heavy, dissonant sounds in it, and am looking for inspiration for a project.

  • @Rimethurse Try "Wheatley Science".

  • @Rimethurse "The Part Where He Kills You" has such elements later on in the track.

  • "Bombs for throwing at you"

Related videos: "And I'm a Mormon"

  • @NeverevenStudios But of course! Everyone knows that the Mormons use mangnet-powered combustible lemon launchers as their primary method of conversion.

  • @NeverevenStudios That is because another related video is "I AM NOT A MORON"

  • @NeverevenStudios I. AM. NOT. A. MORMON!

  • @NeverevenStudios I AM NOT A MORMON!

  • @NeverevenStudios I AM NOT A MORMAN!

  • @bigfatcarp93 even though im not sure why you posted this i do like the name "wheatley supreme" for wheatley in glados's body

  • This fight was epic. And I swear, I got goosebumps when the music kicked up 0:16 and the announcer said "Neurotoxin levels at capacity in 5 minutes".

  • you like revenge right? Everybody likes revenge >:D

    so lets go get some!

  • Fall of Science

  • PART FIVE! BOOBY-TRAP THE STALEMATE BUTTON!

  • Main Boss Fight: :D

    Part 5 Reveal: :O

    Moon Shot: :O....>:D

  • This is the best music for anything mechanical, ever.

  • around 0:45 the music is... hard to describe what i mean...

  • "Oh, and I watched the tapes of YOU killing HER, and I'm not making the same mistakes."

And wheatley's supposed to be the dumb one.

  • @Axapez

Except he winds up making stupid mistakes anyway.

  • @Axapez Yeah, basically, four part plan is this!

    1. Conversion gel placed in a fragile pipe that splatters everywhere.

    2. Neurotoxin that ends after 50% corruption (only one core)

    3. Bomb-Proof shields that only cover a few sections of his body

    4. Bombs for throwing into portals that reflect back at you.

Oh, and Part 5! Booby trap the stalemate button!

We could have a peaceful end, but instead, we have to shoot a portal at the moon and you disappear forever.

Didn't think that through did ya?

  • @Ericzhanger oh, definitely, there's no doubt he's a total freaking moron, but the fact that he's genre savvy enough to actually LOOK AT PREVIOUS BOSSES FOLLIES and at least try to circumnavigate them is kinda ironic.

  • @Axapez You'd think some other bosses could take a page from Wheatley's book... maybe if Nihilanth was half this clever, he wouldn't have TELEPORTED GORDON INTO ROOMS FULL OF AMMO AND FIRST AID.

  • @Axapez I kinda think that it's because Wheatley is somewhat corrupted, just like the other spheres. Because he was programed to be a moron, corruption in his system makes him intelligent. However, because he's only partially corrupted, the intelligence is only situational. For instance, he can be crafty (springing the surprise early), but doesn't think his plans through all the way (trying to kill them elaborately rather than quickly). Not to mention his excessive monologues.

  • @Ericzhanger 1. Yes, this was an actual mistake.

    2. I doubt he could control Aperture's failsafes for corrupted central cores, or else they'd be pretty crappy failsafes.

    3. Again, this could have been beyond his control- we don't know that it would be posssible for him to get bigger shields. His actual mistake was not paying enough attention to adjust his shields as necessary.

    4. Another actual mistake.

    5. Actually, when you think about it, if it wasn't for ...(continued)

  • @Ericzhanger (continued from previous).... Aperture's impending explosion- that is, if Wheatley only needed to kill you- then this part would have guaranteed that he won. Sure, his plan had enough holes that you could hit him with bombs and stick cores on him, but neither the cores nor the bombs did any physical damage- after blowing up the stalemate button, the only reason you survived was the timely destruction of the ceiling, otherwise you'd have no way to beat him.

  • @CirqueDuFreak2000

I never even thought of that. It makes Wheatley sound a whole lot more dangerous when you say it like that. (That's a good thing, satisfying villains are always better) But I would like to think that if PotatOS could save the facility in the short amount of time you gave her while you were fighting Wheatley, then she could have come up with another way to save you and get him out of her body.

  • I swear I hear the Jeopardy theme song.

  • @MarioGalaxy243g5 lolWUT?!

  • if the 3rd soundtrack of Portal 2 IS THIS EPIC, what will Portal 3 & HL3 be like?!?

  • Who else thinks this is awesomer than "Escape"? (GLaDOS boss fight theme)

  • @bononcrusher2 It's actually called "You can't escape you know."

  • @bononcrusher2

Well I don't know anyone who thinks that "You Can't Escape you Know" is better then this. That song wasn't very exciting. While this song has reprises of songs heard throughout the game (Mostly Wheatley's recurring theme) And a main melody. While the first game's final boss basically had the beat. But no melody.

  • Do I hear the Jeopardy tune.

  • its like the main parts of the track are the facility alarms blaring out which keep on coming on but Wheatley plays music over them to drown out the sound but when you knock him out you can hear what is actually happening

  • SCENARIO: Your bitter rival in Team Fortress 2 joins the server, and he's on the opposing team. You challenge him to a fight to the death.

0:00 Rival joins server, you challenge him to duel.

    0:16 LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

  • I can't imagine the patience the guys that put this song together had to have to do so.

  • @sonicfangamer2 No! Bombs For Throwing At You is better!

  • Intense Probulay my favorite song with techno in it

  • i like the dub-step,remix part of the song!

  • I honestly think this is even better then the version that was ripped earlier.

    I mean, WOW

  • Suddenly, new fight music that plays in my head when I fight.

  • I still think the unofficial "Four Part Plan" title sounds better :/

  • @lmbwb333 well valve did this name not this guy

  • @qwertyuiop246603 That's the point, that's what he was saying. Prior to the official OST coming out, people reffered to this song as "Four Part Plan". He's saying he likes that name better.

  • @lmbwb333 F*** no!

  • @lmbwb333 Bombs for Throwing at You is purposefully awkward-sounding because Wheatley's a complete dumbass and can't do anything right.

  • @lmbwb333 Plan #5:No dislike,to this awesome song

  • I still think the unofficial "Four Part Plan" title sounds better :/

  • What....this song needs the most views out of every track in the entire set of albums. This is the best and most climactic of all.

  • @JakeSpringhorn this is the second most climactic. the song that comes right after it is the most climactic

  • This song is absolutely mindblowing, I'd say it's my favourite of the volume.

  • Amazing.

  • @Onewa80 LOLWUT

  • @supersonic523 what

  • @supersonic523

    AMAZING.

  • @Onewa80 oh.... OK lol anyways this part was really easy its basically the same thing as portal one except with bombs instead of a missle turret teh music is awesome though, anyways wanna play CE?

  • @supersonic523

    Can't right now, sorry

  • @Onewa80 k

  • @supersonic523 and also you were adding cores instead of removing :)
