@fourgirls919 Hey, the guy was hungry! Besides, try taking it a step further and killing endless enemies, slaughtering bosses, and maiming your king...cause some mice stole 1 measily slice of cake. HAHA! Kirby...are you really good or evil?
I thought the thermometer minigame was rather odd to throw into a game like this. I don't think many people that would fall into the audience category this game appeals to, would know how to reset a CLASSIC thermometer. >_>
I wish Nintendo would make a Warioware game that uses your entire body for the Wii. XD
Like, you actually have to wear a suit-thing with a motion sensor at every joint. Wrist, elbow, shoulder, neck, stomach, waist, knee, and heel. On both sides. :3 That would actually be really fun. :D It would cost like $150 bucks though.
@Sparkz1607 Nah, it'd cost more than that. The Dreamcast version of Samba de Amigo had a similar scheme (you standing on a platform with lasers pointing upwards) and cost around $250, I think. And that only detected where the maracas were.
I don't have any plans to do that right now. There isn't much there that you can't see in the single-player, though that falling angels thing is an interesting touch.
Hmm,,,Well that sadly true. Now that I think about it... The only thing that'd be nice to see is a record of you and someone doing the.. Thing with those twins
Which is weird, since the Japanese box art was orange. (I forget what the Japanese box art for Touched! looks like, but it was orange in the American version.)
I plan to put it between Jimmy P (who's coming up next) and Tiny Wario. Though that's not the real order of the game, it would be pretty neat to see. I'll also upload Dr. Crygor for good measure.
Well, I'm sure that whatever homes were burned down, thats as far as it goes. Obviously, the firefighters' first priority is where people live rather than the forest, and that's been under control.
Well, that's good. I can't imagine what it would be like to lose your home to a wild fire. I never realized how dry parts of California were. I've never been to California, I've always wanted to go, but never have, but all the pictures seemed so green and nice. I guess that's pictures for you.
2008 was one of the driest years. It was declared a drought, and on top of that, it's got the lowest recorded rainfall ever since rainfall record-keeping began in California, at about .7 inches (or 13 millimeters) for the whole year.
Northern and central California tend to be pretty green. It's southern California that's a desert. Most of the fires are there. (Though there WAS a fire in the central area of Big Sur this summer.)
Yeah, we had a drought this summer in Kentucky (not as bad as yours) which is causing us to already have a lot of snow this winter. How many fires does California (or SoCal) get in a year usually?
That's true. I've been fortunate enough not to be personally affected by one. Though, I believe that it would be easier to rebuild a town after a tornado has hit than after a fire has burned everything. With a tornado you go to your basement or bathroom, where do you evacuate to during a fire?
I'm glad to hear the fire isn't headed in your direction. I've never experienced a wild fire since I live in Kentucky and we do get a lot of rain. All we get are tornadoes.
Tornadoes are still pretty destructive. I've seen some on TV that leveled whole cities. I don't think a fire has ever wiped any Californian towns off the map.
Sucks about the fires. I live in western Washington and we had massive flooding here a year or two ago, and even though my house wasn't affected I knew people who got flooded out, so I guess I kinda know what your dealing with. Poison sucks :(
I used to live in a dry, windy place like that. I've only experienced one wild fire in my life, but luckily it was really small and no homes where destroyed.
What's in Penny's brain? She is very cute though;;

I don't know. There are a lot of minor fires that get put out in like four hours, but 2008 is a year with a lot of big fires.

That's true. I've been fortunate enough not to be personally affected by one. Though, I believe that it would be easier to rebuild a town after a tornado has hit than after a fire has burned everything. With a tornado you go to your basement or bathroom, where do you evacuate to during a fire?
VampireMimsy 3 years ago
You leave the area entirely. That's what the police and firefighters tell people to do.
Overhazard 3 years ago
But where do you stay? With friends and family, or do you have to stay in a hotel of some sorts?
VampireMimsy 3 years ago
The police and firefighters don't really care, as long as you're somewhere else.
Overhazard 3 years ago
I see. Hope all is going well. I haven't been paying attention to the much.
VampireMimsy 3 years ago
The fire is about 70% contained. Though that means they control that much of the perimeter, not that they've put out that much of it.
Overhazard 3 years ago

california is the only place with wildfires why there for some reason every news all we hear is wild fires in california just wondering by the way
Melbester9 3 years ago
It's pretty simple, actually:
1. Dry weather: Southern California is a desert climate. We hardly get any rain.
2. Artificial irrigation: Water is redirected from further north, so there's lots of vegetation.
3. Strong winds: The Santa Ana winds are both hot and dry and blow twice a year. Winds don't put out big fires. They spread them.
Overhazard 3 years ago

Cynicism means having an attitude that is negative, distrusting, or pessimistic about the world in general.
