You don't explain where or how you "hit", and for the F chord you say "put 'this' finger 'right here.'" (??) i had to watch twice to figure it out. This is really good but it would be more instructive if you showed and explained more. Thanks for the vid though.

this was actually a really big help, I just picked a ukulele up today and this helped me alot, I just don't get the whole hit thing and do you use a pick, fingers like when you snap your fingers or just on finger?

I'm so happy I found a tutorial series with good explanation, I've had a Ukulele for several months now but after experimenting with it I never really picked it up again because I found out I'm HORRIBLE with strumming, so I'm definately subscribing and giving it another go!

hey, i know you have strumming technique video.can you please make a simpler one. and do you suppose to strumm with your point finger or with your thumb,if so how do you strumm up(is like when you strum down,how do you strum up)

hey im still having trouble with strumming. i can go up and down ok but when you chuck yours sounds immediately after you play the cord so it makes that "click" sound right after you play a "c" or a "g" like at 1:56. I was wondering if you could slow it down and possibly show only your hand movements how you strum and what fingers you strum and hit with in another video

down up hit up up up hit up down. that is the outline of it. i do pressing wit my left hand too which gives it a lil different sound. but that is the basic outline of the sturm.

i think i cover it in one of the other vids, but its basically pressing on the strings wit ur palm as u strum (wit ur strum hand). and the hit sound, is my knuckles hitting the bottom portion of the body.
