Hey I have some doubts about drying hope you can help!

I'm currently growing one outdoors (a legal country) and as a test I tried drying one of the leaves in a drawer in my living room desk (dark, relatively cool, and very dry) but my leaf turned crispy (the leaf just crunched up in my hand).

Where can I dry it so it turns yelowish but still quite soft? If have a very humid and dark pool pump shed, and a cool and humid basement, and a few other dry areas around the house. Help PLZ!

Hey man, i have a curing question. I heard instead of drying your buds about 80% or so, then placing in mason jars and vent 2-3times a day, you could put them in a fridge for a few months. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Free the Seed
