as i said. Shelby Did not Had the Option to Have an Convertible untill 1968. 1964, '65 & '66 & '67 Shelby's are All hard-top.

Yes, i stand corrected, but those were not available to the Buying Customer. also 1 '67 convertabile was made among one super cobra jet.

@element0990 as far as i know, the four '66 Gt-350's were all build in 4 differant colours. Wimbeldon white, Ravenblack, Laguna Blue and Highland Green. 2 of them were seen i beleive in Mustang Magazine, and 2 are in the Ford Museum, but i cannot comfirm that..

That exhaust sound just like mine. I have 289 with a Edelbrock 600 cfm carb, Hooker Super Comp long headers, Edelbrock 289 Performer intake, Flowmaster 40 mufflers and a R/V cam. When you get a chance let me know all the "goodies" you have on your ride. Pls

This is a beautiful car but it is not an original Shelby, it is a GT convertible with Shelby parts. It has a GT gas cap that Shelby did not use, it has the GT rear valance with duel exhaust that Shelby did not use, it has a hood scoop that was not available until '67, it does not have the dash mounted tach, and it is in a non-original color. If this was one of the six convertibles that Shelby made in '66 it would probably be in original condition.
