My own conclusion is quite the opposite, from my own experiences and readings, abortionists only care about making money, and don't offer any sort of support for post-abortive women going through emotional and physical distress. Thus, abortionists don't really care about women, their support for abortion is for their own gain. They want to feel superior to women.
The issue of unwanted humans is also difficult for most people to deal with. Just as pets are routinely abandoned, so are humans routinely abandoned in orphanages, convalescent hospitals, city streets, and mental institutions. These unwanted humans are ignored by the majority of people.
I agree with you, unwanted people ARE ignored by the masses, but killing them before they are born doesn't make our society any more noble, it just allows us to ignore those that are different just that much more.

I don't think you can simply ban the practice of abortion without creating a Constitutional crisis, but I likewise don't like the idea of funding something that flies in the face of the Hippocratic Oath. There are significantly more male OB/GYN doctors practicing today in the US. Even if females prefer to go to female doctors and therefore choose a higher proportion of female doctors to perform abortions, the sheer number of male doctors would indicate that more abortions are performed by men, based on the logic of availiability. Therefore, you have likely submitted the inaccuracy to the discussion :).

The unborn child is not the woman's body, as Hiliary implies by saying that she wants women to have 'control over their bodies.' It is a separate human being, with it's own dna, own potential for life. Yes, it is dependent on its mum whilst in the womb, but also when born. It is vulnerable and needs to be protected, not eliminated. Her answers were not satisfactory, and were just sad. I hope she really thinks about this and realises that she is wrong, and does something about it.

My own conclusion is quite the opposite, from my own experiences and readings, abortionists only care about making money, and don't offer any sort of support for post-abortive women going through emotional and physical distress. I'm kinda liking this Fortenberry guy. I don't think you can simply ban the practice of abortion without creating a Constitutional crisis, but I likewise don't like the idea of funding something that flies in the face of the Hippocratic Oath. Wouldn't it make more sense to reach out to women with unplanned pregnancies and provide some tools for living and managing? Sanger was a hardcore eugenicist and racist. There's nothing there to be admired. Her goal was to thin the herd - not aid women.

Parents who deliberately give birth to children who are defective could be described as abusive and selfish. They have no concern for whether their children are happy. I wish all the women, mothers. children, and families from foreign countries (especially from my part of the world) get the chance to watch and hear your compassionate and couragous plea on their behalf. As long as any female can be terminated, we all suffer. Abortion serves, first and foremost, irresponsible MEN. Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry make their millions serving THEM, not us. Its true, male politicians pushed for abortion rights, and male doctors perform abortions. If pro-choicers want men to "shut-up" about abortion, that should also include pro-choice men...not just pro-life men.

at the forefront of the women's movement stood mostly women & our male allies. We did not win the fight alone. But Sanger & other Leaders like Sec of State Hillary Clinton & Pres Obama understand that in a democracy freedom of choice is an important issue. (if you chose to take a "birth control" pill or have your partner use a condom you are thanking Margaret Sanger all the way to the bank for finding loopholes in the Comstock Law of 1873 that allowed Doctors to advice women of contraception.

A bit of formal logic...
There are significantly more male OB/GYN doctors practicing today in the US. Even if females prefer to go to female doctors and therefore choose a higher proportion of female doctors to perform abortions, the sheer number of male doctors would indicate that more abortions are performed by men, based on the logic of availiability. Therefore, you have likely submitted the inaccuracy to the discussion :).

Essentially, I don't see how I'm wacky or making a fool of myself as I don't see you posting anything to prove your assumptions either ;) If you are going to call me inaccurate, at least prove it...lol.

A lot of people have noticed that some of the most active anti-abortionists are men. Some women assume this is because men can't get pregnant, but I think it's because of the male personality. All male animals and humans want to be the dominant male. Men are constantly struggling to convince other people that we're special. We boast about our high income, or our college diplomas, or that we won a Nobel Prize, or that we traveled to some unusual place that most people have never been to.

we are talking about giving birth in a Free Country where women have the right to birth or not. (comparing a State-Forced pregnancy policy like China's is NOT what we're talking about! In fact, Sanger advocated the opposite! abortion hurts everyone--used only as a last measure after all parties involved (including men) have been properly educated on safe sex & preventing unwanted pregnancies.
