The problem is that in today's climate Americans do not care; if they are lead to understand that impedeing in the sovereign rights of another country is for THEIR securty, then they will absolutely not feel offended. If they will support a war so they can have a steady oil supply then why should they care if Philipinos have their rights abused?
I find it odd that the members of this panel would look to international law for an answer to war. They lament the pursuit of wealth with one breath and a lack of wealth in the next. How can they hope for a vital community and not expect for success to come out that very same local community? There is no space for "the people" at any international forum. Globalism has no power to help them.
