The glow represents your confidence in yourself. Sho nuff had it because he thought he was so tuff but it was all an act. Thats why it was only his arms that had the glow. After Leeroy discovered that he was the master he gained his confidence and thus the glow. When Sho nuff was being beaten his glow faded away. He lost his confidence.

I Think you have the glow when they both come together and it's then, but only then, the YOU will find the masta! Sho'nuff was almost there with the glow, but no the full glow. He had the warrior skills, but couldn't pull off the full flow because of personal issues. He was mean to his crew and did drugs of course to wake up every morning and dress a foo.
