Hi Nathaniel, it was 911 I think, but I always make small adjustments to the tabs as I play through them. The intro for example was written in a way that I didn't think sounded as it should so I changed it a bit. I don't re'write the tabs as I go, and a lot of people ask me about tabs so I guess I should start doing that. If I do (re-write) I'll let you know.

How did you get them in sync together? Did you record one than listen to it while recording another? Or is there another technique for this?

Hi Victor,

I had the original playing through my headphones and recorded three seperate tracks playing along with the song. The Sony Vegas program then lets you 'align' the three tracks so they fit together. Did you like it?

Wow, amazing cover. I'd decided yesterday to learn this song myself, and today was looking at the different versions on Youtube - yours is by far the best.

I'd never heard of Gilet guitars before, and yours has an excellent tone. What model is it? It sounds better than my Martin DX-1, even through Youtube's compressed sound. I can only imagine what it sounds like in person.

Not sure what's next on your agenda to learn, but how about Hours of Wealth, Credence, or Coil?

Hey Shawn, thanks for your kind words man. The Gilet guitar is very beautiful but there is no model as such. This one was selected from a series of six guitars that he made in 1993. I played all 6 of them and this one just rang out (but there wasn't much difference to be honest). It has a Spruce Top with Brazilian Rosewood back/sides.

Next.....not sure...Coil appeals at the moment. Thanks for the suggestions.
