  • I'd go for a more military type finish on my Kampfer but excellent modeling from both guys, stunning work!

  • Such a shiny mobile suit..!! i love the kamper..!!

  • the dog at 3.40 i love lacquer!! o_O!!

  • @strontydog75 LOL I noticed that too! The dog was getting a bit dizzy from the fumes I guess!!

  • Shiny

  • the dog is under lacquel effect!

  • This makes me want to grab an HGUC 1/144 Kampfer and try the same thing.

Oh, and the dog hit the Dislike button twice.

  • I'm drooling.....cant stop >_<

  • i bet that dog loves the smell of the lacquer :3

  • lol at the dog part

  • exelent work!

  • lol the dog is the best part

i disagree though, this is better work than the alex. i tend to prefer more weathered, realistic depictions but this guy's technique is far superior imo.

  • I prefer the guy who made Rik Dom like a Jewel.

  • lol i wi l never do thad XD it looks goo like the 30th century made XD

  • i have a kamper but for some random reason my parts are diffeent from his and my one is smaller

  • maybe because this is the 1/100 master grade you might have gotten the 1/144 hguc

  • 3:37 lol why his dog looking at the camera

  • how come when they put the parts back together again, the paint doesn't scratch each other? : O

it's so strong.. do they use some kind of chemical?

  • They DO scratch, but it's on the clear-coat level, not on the paint level.

  • Oh i see.. Bought a clear paint (flat) as a final coating. : ) thanks!

  • i guess they do scratch the paint, but it scratches at a spot where is not visible (let's say in the slide sections) so there's no problem ^^

  • dos any 1 know how i can make normal parts matalik like this or is it just the paint

its self that can do it

  • where did the other parts of the kampfer go?i mean the weapons?

  • shiny

  • its a luxury car.

  • i just bought paint and i painted my kampfer and it looked the same, except i didn't cement the cracks between the armor

  • Kampfer for the WIN!!! I think I need a change of pants. Some day, I'm getting a second MG Kampfer model and I'm doing it RIGHT, by following these examples. (Though I'd probably never come even close)

  • Gheghe. And at the end I think he said something like: "And now I'm going to bed!"

  • I agree: the 'real world' looking finish has my vote as well. But he finishes the 'Alex' like that and I imagine him having said something like: "I'm gonna finish the second 'like new'." Just to show two different finishes for a model.

  • yo quiero uno mandenmelo a colombia

  • me too

  • man i would hate to be any one of these japanese gundam modelers... all of them smoke and use there airbrush in a really tiny room without a facemask there lungs must be fuckin toast LOL

  • yep id say so lol

  • Wicked paint on the last model but I gotta agree with some of these comments. These models look a hell of a lot better with flat colors and some battle damage. With that gloss paint it looks too much like a toy rather than a model.

  • One of my favorite models that I have made was the Kampfer... was also pain in the ass to build! I hated putting the hose around his waist, the plastic wire thing that runs through it broke and it took me a week to find something to take its place. Overall i'll recomend this model to anyone who likes a chalange... and has lots of spare time.

Sure looks good next to my Zaku ll, DOM, and GM sniper^-^

  • I love that dog lol... so class

  • elegant

  • Wow! I learned a lot from this 1 ^^

  • ن٥ﻻ ﻉ√٥ﺎ ٱ

  • yea this looks more like it was for display in a museum rather than a combat mobile unit...I like the NT better also ... but this does look nice :) ... to bad I won't ever do it Im so lazy LOL

  • @Arc1Cmdr Thats because the Kämpher is the Porsche of mobile suits ;D

  • Although I admire the degree of difficulties in this Kaempfer custom paintjob and coating, I dont really dig the shiny look. It fits better on sportscar model, but probably not mobile suit. I think MS needs to be more rough, matte finished and lots of battlescars or bulletholes... just like the NT Gundam compared at the end

  • yes i don't like the shiny bleu that you say it's bette ron a sports car and i do maby matte bleu you see it meby soem time on my on video over my gundams / the kamfer

  • it seems like a Japanese thing for the shiny clear coat like finish.

  • The dog was cute...

  • wow...this is amazing...

  • thanks
