Sigh, I hate all these videos saying that fraps is better. I respect your opinion, but IMO hypercam is better for 1 major reason: IT'S FREE. You can only record 30 seconds with fraps without paying like 40 bucks. Hypercam's latest does not have the watermark anymore. And if you have it in a window and not fullscreen, you can record TT without any lag. Also if you set the quality to 100% it looks a lot better. And if you have a mic, it can record sound.

Fraps is great. If you lag when you record, it's probably because you have a crap CPU or graphics card which does not support fraps. ATI's Radeon and nVidia's GeForce fully support Fraps. One other thing that causes Fraps to lag is recording sound. Disable that and see if it runs better.

It is prob bad because vista makes your computer glitchy and slower. You may not notice this when you are not running a big program in another big program (for example: Toontown and Fraps) I had to upgrade my computer to get it to record good. Vista will prob make the graphics glitchy while you are recording no matter what. I would reccomend getting windows XP on your new computer instead of vista.
Hypercam blinks on any computer, but Vista is very unnificant and may cause a computer that isnt ultra fast to run badly in games, even worse while with a screen capture running. If you pay 37 dollars for fraps and upgrade your computer, the problem will be solved (but it is expensive)
@coolio24Xx It's because you have toontown in a full screen. You have to have it in a window. Also you are showing us the crappiest settings on hypercam, and fraps only records 30 seconds.

no prob,BUT there is 1 problem. The unregistered version only lets u record 30 seconds at a time. If u want the full version u have 2 pay for it,but if u want it free just google fraps registered version and youll find it sometime.
But hypercam is good for clubpenguin and it rocks with screenshots. The thing thats good about hypercam is u chose recording window and the files are smaller.
