I dont think Raigeki will be that much of a problem, with the abundance of Synchro summonings and Stardust, Counter traps, Gorz and Battle Fader. It would be a pain in the ass, but it'd stop all the swarms

Plus, the more cards on the banlist they un-ban, the less original and creative decks we get to see. It becomes a "survival of the fittest" matter at that point. You either use OP Raigeki, or someone else is gonna use it on youvand screw you hard. When BLS got unbanned, how many people began running him? More than half the decks you see out there. Lightning vortex has trip ups. it's cost may not seem as much but if you draw it and have no hand, it's a dead draw. If all you have are cards you need, would you sacrifice one? However, raigeki it's self is unbelievably over powered. Say your opponent is about to beat you out with a field full of tank-ass monsters. You draw. If it's raigeki, they all go and you get another turn (far too over powered.). If it's lightning vortex, you can't pay it's cost.

Also, Lightning vortex is limited since it cannot target face-down cards on the field. I do not believe, however, that lightning vortex should be anything but limited, i think 1 only should be all your allowed, yet i don't think you really need more than 1 in your deck.

I know meta players would orgasm at it being unbanned, but it is way too overpowered. (I don't know whose dick someone had to suck to get MR unbanned >>). As long as you destroy only ONE monster, it's a 0, but anything past one, you definitely are coming up positive. Compared to Lightning Vortex which in many circumstances is a dead draw, and you need to kill at least two monsters for it to be a 0. Plus it doesn't hit face-downs, so it's way more healthy than the steroid that is Raigeki. :P

@cloud66 I think the reason why Rageki was banned was because of the fact it destroyed all monsters, regardless of faced down or not. Lightning Vortex destroys face-up monsters. On top of that, Raigeki doesn't have the discarding 1 card for a cost. Still, a good play would be Swords + Vortex

@cloud66 lightning vortex isn't as good. You have to discard as the cost, so yes, it works with fabled also but it's kinda slow for them, and negs you in other decks. Also lightning vortex doesn't hit face-downs.

Raigeki shouldnt be brought back. its OP to say the least. it can insta crush ur opponent unless they can negate it. if they bring it back they should at LEAST keep it limited to 1, and ban dark hole. Dark hole can actually help you if you have a level 7+ monster in ur hand and dandylion on the field.

With dark hole there are times where you dont want to use it because you dont want to lose your TG Librarian or something but with raigeki you can use it anytime. With Dark Hole, it might seem like a negative effect but it can be positive, Like with Dragons or anything that uses the grave like a boss. Harpies feather duster however.....now that's op. What your friend said was 100% nailed, Heavy Storm can have a negative effect which could mean getting rid of your own back row. Raigeki however just destroys your opponents monsters, more like an upgraded Dark Hole.
