I have one of these that TracFone mistakenly disabled the SIM on! I am now left with a non working phone because of their screw-up. Customer service did not correct this and now I have to wait 'til next for a new SIM. I've filed a complaint with the FCC over this. Mean-time my service days are evaporating away on a phone I can't use.

hey dude i doubt anyone will care for this but i found something out about this go to my page ill have a video but when you receive a text and press the volume button you can open the message without wasting minutes and open the phone and you can view the message free so its like you got unlimited incoming texts but you must do it this way to do thank for listening

@Xsk828manX Hi, Just to clarify the text message procedure. When you receive a text message you press the volume control on the "side" of the phone when the screen shows a text message coming in and then go to the messages in the phone and find the message there??? Thanks.

Hey does anyone know how to unlock all characters in the LG Mini Planet or Mini game world??? I'm having trouble unlocking a couple of characters and how do you get 5000 points? Any tips or tricks helpful, don't know if anyone plays the games on their lg or not, just wondering.

@scooterinnc84 My kids say just keep playing. In cloud jumping use Froggy. To unlock Star Dreams you have to get three games in hard mode. The hardest character appears to be "Wake Me up at Lunchtime". Don't know if this is above or below your level.

@bestprep11 Someone responded to me on a forum that you have to unlock the wake me up at lunchtime character at like 11:58 am or right at noon, doesn't matter which day. But, that character just randomly appeared for me the other day, and I don't know how, maybe just appears after a certain number of total accumulated points. It is the rabbit character, I think. Just tell your kids to try and open it somewhere around noon. I have the Star Dreams already, and thank you for helping me out.

i spent an hour 3 different times, talking to text support. 1st was to get the phone active...2nd was the stupid phone went to spanish i was careful not to hit it but it went to spanish anyway. On the internet to change it back is says hit 9,2,2...i did that and was repeated it over and over by tech support... til i looked up the spanish and basically translated many of the options using google and figured it out, it was 9,2,1...Then of coarse why would the minutes load correct another hour...

This is a really nice phone and you can't beat the price. I went with TracFone so I had the flexibility of how many minutes I was paying for. Some months I use a few and other months many. I was impressed with the features on this phone for the low price and low costs with TracFone.

So I figured out how 2 delete all the messages at once

What u do is

Go to "mark all" and click on it an then go to the options thing again and it will ask for u to delete all and you say yes :)

@robbybananas That was a great deal and I hope it's still on as I've been looking at going with Tracfone for a while as my contract is nearly up! I am so looking forward to never having a cell phone bill again as it costs me a fortune to be on contract and I never know where all the money I pay went. The double minutes and free incoming texts are going to be a huge money saver for me as I run my business from my phone and I believe the coverage and reception are great!

@samm21490 No. You have to buy the Straight Talk version of this phone. You can't just stick a Straight Talk card (which isn't available separately anyway) into the Tracfone version of the phone.

@koda440 I've tried everything..can't seem to do it either..The other thing I hate is that if your texting and you receive one, it freezes up until you read the message, and then you have to go back to drafts to finish what u were texting. None of my other Tracfones did that. I think it's better to spend the additional 15 bucks and get the Samsung..unless you just prefer a flip phone.

This is a very good looking phone. Black and sleek like the motorola w260, but with a load more features. I've just been on the tracfone website for the losangelos area and this phone's going for $20 with a whole lot of other accessories. So far this phone takes the tracfone cake.

You get the accessory kit, a $10 gift card certificate, and a double minutes for life card with the purchase. Also qualifies for free shipping. Me, I'm shoppin around for an up grade from my previous lg 220, and the most obvious step up is the lg290. This straight talk phone is attractive too, but I suspect it'll have the same problem with internal mem as what the 290 has. The whole point behind getting unlimited plan from straight talk is to use it. But that's not going to happen with just any phone.

i liked this phone a lot for it's simplicity. i bought it as a gift for one of my nephews,who has just gone back to school, and he is in cell phone heaven ever since. he can afford to load his own airtime with his allowance and the double minutes for life are an extra gift for life on top of it all.no worries what so ever for his mother. i can even text him, and it will not cost him a cent.

@laserlight43 Yes. Type in the email where you'd normally put the number, just switch to letter mode. You can text directly to the email that way. It costs me 1 full unit/minute but it's worth it.

@somebodysangel99 Tracfone doesn't, but you can get this phone with the Straight Talk unlimited plan. Yes you can send picture messages.

@somebodysangel99 You can also text to an email directly if you can't send to some carriers. For instance, my AT&T friends can't receive photos from me somehow, so I just text their emails instead.
