  • what song does it sound like?

  • @endlessn1 It reminds me of:

The Cars - Who's Gonna Drive You Home

  • @sarasasson yeah a U2 Song

  • Nice pic... They should've made video out if song though...

  • yeah baby making music or explorations on lsd...what would this be classified as?

  • from 45 to 1:00 this sounds like another song

  • this song souds a lot like something else

  • @sarasasson The Cars - Who's Gonna Drive You Home?

  • boringgggg ZzZZZZ srry u didnt live up to your EP effort

  • So when Ernest Greene isn't sampling old vinyl he ends up making music that sounds like Moby and Ulrich Schnauss getting high in the studio.

  • Good song to meditate to? Thanks to V for sending us nessaholics here.

  • Great recommendation by dear Vanessa...

  • This synthy chillwave trend in indie music is not one that I particularly welcome. Artists need to try actual songwriting instead of cashing in on this mellow music-by-numbers. How people actively enjoy this is beyond me.

  • @MetaSamus I am a trained pop musician and I appreciate and enjoy this piece. There is as much song writing in this music as any other contemporary pop music-it's minimal but there is nothing wrong with that if that was the artist's intention

  • @Muddyw67 I disagree. There is far more songwriting in contemporary pop music than in this song. If we're going to talk pop, go listen to Stars, or of Montreal, or some Alphabeat or Robyn or something. Those artists are extremely talented, and their music has no trouble conveying that because they use that talent to actually write. This song, however, is a two-note synth riff over a drum machine pattern with a pinch of ghastly vocals. It's minimal, but to the point of repetitiveness.

  • @MetaSamus "Actual" songwriting is in the ear of the beholder, my friend; I can't get enough of this song. I love Stars, Of Montreal, Belle & Sebastian, but they'll never be able to evoke the feeling I experience with this style of music.

  • @MetaSamus yea i mean this is OK

but in the end kinda boring..ZzzzZZ

not as good as his 1st EP

  • @MetaSamus Try LSD or having sex on LSD and then get back to me.

  • this is too good..

  • anyone that knows the names of the others members of the band after greene?? PPPLLLLLLEAAASEEEE

  • I could get high or have sex with this song on

  • @getjiggywithit007

    :clappyhands: Proper Idea.

  • @getjiggywithit007 You sir, are brilliant :3

  • @getjiggywithit007 or both

  • @getjiggywithit007 Aye man!?!? WHY NOT BOTH!?!

  • @getjiggywithit007 what about both

  • I think I dislike Washed Out's vocals more than any 'chillwave' artist, but this newer stuff is pretty dope. Toro Y Moi still takes the cake though. He's just too funky.

  • beautiful, inspirational, emotional, exciting, chillwave man.

  • reminds me of moby

  • @mishabaikal yup. from his old (good) stuff...

  • ***** <---agree

  • I Can't stop playing this! Even better than the first EP! Brilliant
