Hey do you have any tips on how to write good lead guitar parts for bands like these?

@Darkwolf1923 Melodic 8th and 16th note picking. Some type of delay is always a good match for those as well. Also, it might be easier to write the rhythm notes and write the lead over it. or vice versa. Whatever is easier.

@Darkwolf1923 8th and 16th notes are just notes played for shorter lengths than usual, which means you play more notes in the amount of time. AKA Just pick them fast, like in the verse of this song. I suggest you find a scale you like and play it around the same speed as the verse of this song for practice. Then you can just make variations using the notes of the scale to write your own lead. Practice, practice, practice and it'll come to you.
