My mom was a single parent rasing me and my lil sis, and we had a great childhood. My mom didn't have a lot of money to give us everything we wanted and we still grew up happy. We were just happy being with and loved by her, so i just don't get why u would give him up because of that reason.

A single mother cant give a baby what he or she needs to grow and be happy. We do it because we love our baby so much and so selflessly that we want to give him or her the best life possible, and we know that we alone can not do that. So dont judge. keeping the baby would have been selfish. we were thinking of him/her. not of us.

I wanted to give my oldest up for adoption 7 years ago and I wan't able to do it. I wish I had the courage to stand up to my critics and just do it. You have given him the world and the worlds after that.
