Uh, I don't know what this says about me, but I initially thought the little bear was discovering raw sewage that had found its way north via ocean currents. You should watch An Inconvenient Truth, which has not been criticized by any prominant scientist as having bad data. One fact he cited was that in 2005 there were 500 scientific papers released on global warming, and all agreed that it was happening because of humans.  That same year about 50% of all news articles questioned whether global warming was happening.
