Is it me, or is he doing a C dismount? They gave him 6.0, but I count up a 5.7. (Funny how just a little more traveling would raise the score!)

It is a D because he has an extra full twist in it

I know the full twist bumps the value, but flare to handstand (without the twist) is only a B

So that makes it a C.

The judges caught their mistake for team and event finals—they gave him only a 5.7

@denn333 a B flair to handstand is done on both handles and stays on both handles. Sasha does a half spin to leather-and-one handle (cant for the life of me remember what that is called right now) which makes it C. The full twist bumps it to a D. had he gotten a hand on the last part and gotten 3/3 travel it wouldve been an E

In techie speak it shouldve been a Kolyvanov (D) with the extra tenth for the travel from 2 handles to uphill circle except he couldnt get that hand on the 3rd part

Yeah, you're right - it's only a C. He did a 2/3 travel handstand dismount with 1/1 pirouette.

Handstand = B.

Full pirouette = + 1 letter.

Travel 3/3 = +1 letter.

From B-value skill (e.g., pommel loop, reverse Stockli, etc.) = + 1 letter.
