Guillermo Del Toro is a fucking god. I'm reading The Strain right now and it's probably one of the best books I've ever read in my life. Very chilling, very horrifyingly beautiful.
Almost done with this book, but i already went out and go The Fall because I know I'm gonna wanna continue the trilogy. Who else noticed the similarities between these vampires and the Reaper strain in Blade 2???
I totally agree! Vampires are supposed to be horrifying, not those Twilight-like vampires! I've read some book reviews about The Strain, I think I'm going to buy it tomorrow :).
I love how he specifically shuts out Twilight and this is why I'm going to read the Strain. He is a brilliant director and I look forward to his finally reading some of his writings as well!
The Strain was an amazing and creepy book. just got The Fall cant wait to start that! and i cant wait for The Night Eternal, the 3rd book. finally a scary vampire book! thank you del toro and hogan
Del Toro knows how monsters work. It doesn't always work, but his monsters always look great.
