The boy in this footage was on BBC TV recently as part of a UK documentary. Now a middle aged man, the healing of his degeneative hip disease remained permanent and he went on to serve in the forces. You can think this is a scam if you want, but the evidence doesn't support that view.

God is timeless, Omniscient (always there), God is never changing, God has unlimited power, and energy as he is a God. @andreo I have had close friends get healed by God through this man's ministry as well as experienced healing in my own life. I have no question that these miracles can and do happen. What I do wonder about is why you watch these "phony" videos first of all, and second what makes you so sure they aren't true? And exactly whose lives are they ruining? On the contrary, his ministry has greatly BLESSED my life. God can and will do the same for you if you just let Him.

@libsemik there are many fake healings but there many real documented medical healings. I believe this to be a real healing. You havn't seen it before so it's easy to say well that can't be real which is understandable.
Healings from God can be very real but I can't understand why it surprised Oral Roberts that the boy was healed...There was great healings at some of his meetings back in the late forties and fifties. Oral didn't do the healings, God did. Later, Oral became lifted up in himself over healings that God had performed and he strayed away from the truth. He even left his church denomination and joined a liberal Methodist that didn't teach healings by the Lord. How sad!!!
In the early 60's my brother-in law had been in a tuburculosis hospital in New Albany indiana.They decided to remove his lung and let him go home for the weekend, where his in-laws took him to Oral Roberts in Indianapolis. The problem with faith healers in general is that they have built a way of thinking around themselves that does not permit followers to question evidence. They declare you "healed," and any thought to the contrary is seen as the work of the devil. Therefore any claim of healing is suspect.

True. Faith healers operate on the placebo affect, they use the notion of faith and the excitement of the scene to lure shallow idiots into accepting whatever they say as truth, and playing their part in the process. Maybe some type of psychological phenomenon takes place when people delude themselves to such an extreme degree, but overall if you're perception of faith is nothing more than seeing these "miracles"; the only thing you're interested in is controlling God for selfish preservation.

I find it not credible that the little boy and his mother are lying, nor that there is any psychological reason for the stiffness in his legs to suddenly disappear and let him raise them although he wasn't able to do so minutes before, and let him walk without crutches. @andreo I have had close friends get healed by God through this man's ministry as well as experienced healing in my own life. I have no question that these miracles can and do happen. What I do wonder about is why you watch these "phony" videos first of all, and second what makes you so sure they aren't true? And exactly whose lives are they ruining? Healings from God can be very real but I can't understand why it surprised Oral Roberts that the boy was healed...There was great healings at some of his meetings back in the late forties and fifties. Oral didn't do the healings, God did. Later, Oral became lifted up in himself over healings that God had performed and he strayed away from the truth. He even left his church denomination and joined a liberal Methodist that didn't teach healings by the Lord. How sad!!!

In the early 60's my brother-in law had been in a tuburculosis hospital in New Albany indiana.They decided to remove his lung and let him go home for the weekend, where his in-laws took him to Oral Roberts in Indianapolis. Upon retirning to the hospital they found nothing but scar tissue.At first they thought there was something wrong with the xray machine.He is still healed today.I never beleived in this kind of thing but witnessed this personally. The problem with faith healers in general is that they have built a way of thinking around themselves that does not permit followers to question evidence. They declare you "healed," and any thought to the contrary is seen as the work of the devil. Therefore any claim of healing is suspect.
I have BEEN to these healing meetings and have seen my friends and relatives go forward. I KNOW they were not healed, but they were counted as if they were.
That magic show stuff hurts more than it helps.

Faith healers operate on the placebo affect, they use the notion of faith and the excitement of the scene to lure shallow idiots into accepting whatever they say as truth, and playing their part in the process. Maybe some type of psychological phenomenon takes place when people delude themselves to such an extreme degree, but overall if you're perception of faith is nothing more than seeing these "miracles"; the only thing you're interested in is controlling God for selfish preservation.

The evil is in hating someone and cussing. This man was a Christian, are you? Funny how people who complain about some so called "evil" are very evil themselves. I can see quite a few here. You need to take care of the evil that's in you first before you deal with someone else. And don't judge. Did you know this man's heart? I doubt it.

I'm not suggesting that at all. If I believed like you, then yes, it's wrong. Of course it would be wrong. But I don't believe that what Oral Roberts did was wrong. I believe it was real healing. But God knows the truth. So let's just leave it at that, ok? I'm not here to judge Oral Roberts. That's God's job, not you or me.

The same argument could be made for Bernie Madoff harker3355. Oral's prosperity gospel is based on lies, exaggerations & fake miracles. Its no different than what was going on in the temple when Christ went postal. Shouldn't we have the same contempt for con men that Christ had? Oral was nothing more than a carny. My mom went to his scam college. My sister married the pilot of one of his close friends (a major televangelist.) It was such a huge let down to find its all fake. Watch my clip.

Oh, come on! Peter Popoff was not a fraud? He "healed" people and was proven to be a con! Same with Marjoe Gortner's family, Benny Hinn... the list is long.
All fraudsters! Their "healings" are nothing but theater and delusions, and those "healers" are making loads of money out of it.
Benny Hinn "healed" a boy who was blind, on stage. How is the boy doing now? Can he see?
