i think youtube doesn't discriminate i just think that they see all these videos to a user that is flagged as inapropriate. and because they have so many accounts and so little time they dont investigate it just suspend it. also if you use copyright material without any permission, your ass is gone; and you deserve to be suspended

Hopefully something tragic like a YT suicide doesn't happen.

Even if a lawsuit would be baseless, and even if the whole thing gets thrown out as frivolous, it would seriously damage Google's reputation. And that will be enough of a blow in the PR dept. for them to change.

TheRedSkull did make one point in one of his videos that I have to agree with.

YT does not protect its original content makers.

Makes me think they don't really care.

I think you're bang on here tma, any lawsuit brought would only be a money loser. I am sure Google would not be rattled, and their Terms of Use seem to be rock solid. I'm not a lawyer, but "sole discretion" of YouTube seems pretty solid. I also think the system should be changed so users are notified WHY their videos violate TOS before they are removed.
