I bought the new 391 from a friend,it's a ballsy saw but the oiler doesn't work. Is it hard to change out?

I got a 28 oregon powermatch plus bar on my 390 works great.

i got a 460 and a 290 and want somethin in the middle... been debatin betweeen 361, the new 362 and a 390 i need some imput !

ive used a 036 pro which is the same as a 360 361 or 362 and i have the 390 definitely has more power but its heavier and it is not as heavy duty as the 036,360,361,362 if you are going to use it professionally get the 036,360,361,362

ya i know those models have more alloy parts are lighter to use ... im gonna be usin the saw 2 to 3 times a week buckin up red elm , sugar maples and some hemlocks, not fellin , and if so only occasionaly, and i dont wanna fuck my check book up spendin too much on a saw i dont really need, and a dealer in my are with all the shit i buy off of him he gives me good deals he said hed go 410.00 bucks for a 390 with 20 in. e super bar and 2 full chisel tooth chains, gimmie some feedback !

sounds like a good deal to me because with a 20in bar new the 390 is 469.95 where i live and you dont get two extra chains so i would buy it

u got any idea how well a 310 pulls a 25in bar ?

no but i would not do it thats alot of stress on that motor the 390 is maxed out with a 25in bar

see some people say those ratings stihl puts on what u can run is a little shy of what it can actually do..i talked to a dude who said he ran a 24 on his 290 and ran it hard and never had any trouble so idk..

You can buy a 32 inch bar and put on that saw but its not recomended by stihl.
