Anyone know where you can get the DVD this came from and if it is available in the US? From the closing credits it is apparent that all the clips on YouTube from the 1987 Mt Fuji Festival are from one DVD. Thanks for any help.

Modes9, The shit all sounds pretty inside to me dude. Regardless of the bass and drums. Besides, I can barely distinguish a single bass note and the ride cymbal is a huge wash of sound.

You can't play a solo like these guys unless the bass and drums are rock solid laying down the form. Outside passages only sound cool if the listener has a concrete frame of reference. Woody and Herbie are awesome...what can you say?
