This is pure masterpiece of Drama/Thriller genre. I like Tom Cruise but never found his acting versatile. In this film he showed brilliant/phenomenal acting. Real Tom Cruise.

Jamie Foxx, Jada Pinkett Smith and Mark Ruffalo were great too. I don't know why but this movie reminds me a little bit "The Brave One" with Jodie Foster. Final scenes were intriguing and just awesome

to me in my opinion when they had a unsettling conversationg and then the wolf passed by. i think it was about that he(jamie foxx) had to be a lone wolve. i dont know if you guys understand but his character did not know who he was until the wolve past by. showing that he knows that he's a lone wolve. one who takes care and nutures himself.

The wolf is out of place in the city and so is Vincent, out of his natural habitat and a threat.

there is a saying in my language, "when death approaches the coyote it runs for the city"-meaning when its the coyotes time to die it goes away from its natural element and in to the unfamiliar city to hunt or scavenge. So for me the scene has greater meaning as Vincent keeps talking about his hate for L.A and he is there to hunt as well.
