  • Billions of new jobs and less people in prison for non violent offenses.

Also more profit for the billion dollar company's that are keeping cannabis illegal, if only they would bother to convert some of their facilitates to cannabis/hemp production and processing as well as keeping the profits from the products they already make.

  • VOTE RON PAUL 2012 TO END THE UNSUCCESSFUL 40 YEAR LONG WAR ON MICROSCOPIC CHEMICALS (legalization). RON PAUL TO AUDIT THE FED. RON PAUL TO END UNREASONABLE TAXES. RON PAUL TO DEFAULT THE CONSTITUTION AND RESTORE PEOPLES RIGHTS!!!

  • well......no one has ever died from smoking weed, but they die from related illnesses. its like cigarettes you cant die from smoking them, but you die because you develop lung cancer.

if cigarettes are legal then i cant see why weed wouldn't be considered.

  • Eh

    SMOKE WEED!

  • Man I hope they get this to run during the Super Bowl next year.

  • you can have your tobacco and ciggs, the more harmful alternative. enjoy your freedom. let me eat my cannabis edible in peace while i use hemp products and save the earth. Yes on prop 19 to continue the civil rights movement.

  • vote yes on prop 19 this nov. 2 legalize cannabis for us over 21

  • I still don't understand why people consider cannabis as a drug. There is no chemical processing in it. heroin, meth, cocaine all the other shit needs to be chemically processed and/or altered.

The theory that marijuana is a 'gateway drug' is a result of the war on drugs. Why? because in order to avoid getting caught for drugs in blood or urine tests, people choose to resort to the stuff that will actually kill you. cocaine and heroin only stays in your system for a couple days,

  • Fucking communist hippies!

  • @diox12345 That the best you have? Oh I am so insulted, you are from Poland so why are you even commenting on a United States issue anyway?

  • To people that think pot heads are losers: Google "Very Important Potheads"

  • @imanerd36 thanks for showing me the site!! ill spread the word of it.

  • Thank You N.O.R.M.L. for every effort you have done on the peoples behalf..

  • its been illegal cuz of greed and money for logging an paper companies. but idk y it still is cuz itll fuckin help all of americas economy. plus a load of other shit. lol i forget how much it is but isnt it a huge percentage of calis economy

  • It is disgusting that responsible adult cannabis users have lost custody of their children, were kicked out of their homes, were forced into years of minimum mandatory prison sentences, had to file bankruptcy, lost their jobs, etc. We shouldn't be punished for using a safer alternative to alcohol and tobacco.

  • Good 1 can I use it on my show?

  • so, is this going to be aired on tv?

if so it will be a huge help in legalization

    legalize it!

  • @EnjoyMarijuana no, it's being aired on the cbs big screen in times square

  • hmm....if only there was some type of product out there that was undiscovered...already had a market, relatively harmless, edible, could be used as medicine, easy to produce, and could consumed in a variety of ways......which would help out the USA sluggish economy....hmmmmmmmm to bad there is nothing out there like that gee

  • Lol people will see this an start selling weed haha

Legalize it already! damn its taking so long

  • Legalize it. Regulate it. Tax it. Whatever.

    Let's do this already.

  • money does grow on trees

  • Free the weed from capitolism & greed, dont tax those in need to grow the seed, tax those who stand to profit on weed ! On this stand we must be agreed, FREE THE WEED !

  • 420=$@)=legalization>=The Law Of Capitalism

  • then hallucinations, very dangerous drug!

  • lol google NIDA national institute for drug abuse, thc has caused many heart attack deaths, and suicides in young, look it up its medical fact blood pressure and heart rate increase 60 -90 percent!

  • Many over the counter flu and cold medicines cause heart attack deaths an increase blood pressure. As for suicides that is a simple collation equals causation argument. It is false. These kids were already depressed and more likely self medicating. NIDA is a political group which benefits by keeping marijuana illegal. Also, if Marijuana was legal it would be more difficult for kids to get, blackmarket dealers don't card kids.

  • It would be easier for kids to get, all they have to do is go get a friend that graduated already and say hey buy me that.

  • You mean like they do for beer and alcohol? So by that logic we should bring back alcohol prohibition because kids can ask a buddy to buy them some alcohol? Getting drugs is easier for kids than getting alcohol which is legal for adults. Also gangs aren't shooting each other over alcohol distribution like they were in the 1920s? Gangs are fighting over drug distribution with innocent people getting caught in the cross fire.

  • Yep you do have a point

  • Dude, I'm in high school and it's way easier to get weed than anything else. It would seriously be harder to get it if it was legal, bro.

  • drug dealers aren't checking id's!

  • I know! That's why it should be legal!

  • Comment removed

  • @masterofcivilization it would totally be harder to get if you are in high school because it would be regulated like beer or alcohol, meaning there would most likely be an age that you could buy it at. With that being said if its legal then government dispensaries would be selling it. Also look at the cost of any form of herb or grain, most things like oats, barley things like that sell for 200$ a pound not ounce. To say that it would be harder to get when its legal is nonsense.

  • @Kawasakikfx33

"It would be easier for kids to get, all they have to do is go get a friend that graduated already and say hey buy me that."

You must be really disconnected from the youth culture. Do you not understand how much harder it is for a minor to get alcohol than cannabis? If a kid has to ask an older friend to buy him cannabis, then that's a significant buffer that isn't here right now. That's actually a step in the direction if making it HARDER for kids to get cannabis.

  • @Kawasakikfx33

And it's not only that kids can buy cannabis at virtually any second; with zero regulation, the temptation and ease to start dealing cannabis puts kids at a higher risk to ruining their lives from an unbalanced criminal justice system. If you truley cared about the youth, you would not deceive yourself for an attempt to create anti-cannabis argument.

  • @Aleko99 I do care about the youth. I'm just trying to say to all these morons that claim its so non lethal that it could be lethal. One of my friends started smoking weed this summer and now everyday he goes home smokes some weed and thats all he does its all he talks about. My second friend which has been smoking weed since eighth grade tries to quit all the time and guess what she tells me she can't quit because it just feels to good. What im trying to say is marijuana is the same as alcohol

  • @Kawasakikfx33 "Lethal" is synonymous to deadly, so you are completely incorrect by stating that cannabis is lethal. Also, you can't blame a substance as mild as cannabis for your friends' lack of will power and ambition. "Dumb teenagers" are not the majority of cannabis users. Doctors, lawyers, politicians, and professionals in all areas of our society are regular users of cannabis.

  • @Kawasakikfx33

You're right about the fact that your friends have a problem if it affects their motivation, but the choices of a few adolescents should not affect the choices of responsible adults. Also, I don't see what you mean by stating that "marijuana is the same as alcohol and cigarettes." They are so completely different in every way. Cannabis is an herb; a medicine and alcohol is a poison. They're not even in the same category of drugs.

  • @Kawasakikfx33

Alcohol and cigarettes kill thousands every year but cannabis has never killed a single person. If you can't recognize the explicitly substantial amount of differences there are plenty of resources online to educate you on the issue.

Lastly, you're also incorrect about legalization not helping the economy. Legalization is on the ballot in California for this very reason; they will profit approximately $105 million in taxes per year.

  • @Kawasakikfx33

On a larger scale, the US would acquire roughly $800 million in direct profit AND they will save $14 billion a year spent on "reducing drug use and availability" (2009 statistics).

  • @Aleko99 yay more money who cares why don't they throw away every marijuana plant they have and start growing something that people can eat so the price of food goes down and we can feed more people in the world instead of be worthless and lazy and get high.

  • @Kawasakikfx33

It's obvious that you're either a troll or just an uneducated adolescent. Whatever the case, do you honestly believe that once you run out of arguments you can appear informed by asserting outdated generalizations? I'm not even going to bother to respond to what you just said - stop wasting my time when you can't even do the research for yourself. Seriously, it's just one Google search away. Ironically, "worthless" and "lazy" seem to perfectly describe your intellectual integrity

  • @Aleko99 Your the one thats making no sense and just calling me names because your the dumbass who probably is brain dead from smoking pot. Think about it get rid of all the weed in California and start growing oranges or replace them with grape fields then theres more food on the earth is healthy instead of a drug that is used improperly by most of the users anyway dude go get a job you fucking worth stoner.

  • @Kawasakikfx33

    - Dude, what is your problem?

I'm 23, smoked weed for 7 years and I've always had a job. I've never been arrested, never had a fight (since being a pothead), I don't drink, I don't take any other drugs.

I love my family and my friends. Weed makes the World a better place and reminds me that success in my career is not the most important thing there is.

FREEDOM is more important than SECURITY.

  • @69salford69 I'm proud of you one of the few potheads that actually have a job not being a dick either.

  • @Kawasakikfx33

I wish I could flag that for stupidity.

  • @wogboy711 I wish i could flag your mom for giving birth to you

  • @Kawasakikfx33 regrading the claim that smoking weed kills brain cells:

the test to assess this was biased. the test subjects (monkeys) were given 63 joints worth of Columbian weed in 5 minute intervals with barely enough oxygen. and if u knew a bit of biology or general knowledge, u would know that the brain cannot function without oxygen.

Repeatedly carrying out the above mentioned process led to the monkeys passing out due to the lack of oxygen. as a result, it led to the loss of brain cells

  • @virtual62 That could be true I really don't know about any real testing the world is full of lies but I'm still pretty strong about inhaling the smoke of a joint would be inhaling burnt paper which can't be healthy in anyway, but a bowl and bong might be pure for all i know.

  • @Kawasakikfx33 I agree, its only the heated plant matter and or paper that poses as a health hazard for cannabis only smokers. and this can be reduced or eliminated by using bongs, pipes etc. Weed really has no negative effect on you what so ever.

  • @Aleko99 sorry worth is suppose to be worthless i wouldn't be surprised if you make fun of me because now because of that because thats the only argument you could make.

  • @Aleko99 and is also the same as cigarettes they are both used by dumb teenagers and its not going to help the economy at all.

  • @skirbyr have you ever actually tried it? or looked at real data? cause youre wrong.

  • @skirbyr REALLY? try type 'number of marijuana related deaths on google'

I dont know where you're getting this bogus information but the facts are right there on the link. you fail.

  • @virtual62, There has never been a DIRECT(O.D.) link of smoking Marijuana and death. The only links of death and marijuana is driving and work place accidents. An incredible In Britain claims:

"Official government statistics listed five deaths from cannabis in the period 1993-1995 but on closer examination these proved to have been deaths due to inhalation of vomit that could not be directly attributed to cannabis (House of Lords Report, 1998)"

    No, you sir, you fail.

  • @pommyrooter ' ....but on closer examination these proved to have been deaths due to inhalation of vomit that COULD NOT BE DIRECTLY ATTRIBUTED TO CANNABIS (House of Lords Report, 1998)"

  • @virtual62, That is what i stated, i fail to see the point of which you try to make.

  • @pommyrooter I'm sorry, maybe its my misunderstanding, but I understood it as the cause of those deaths were related to the inhalation of vomit not cannabis. Even so, you'd have to agree with me that Alcohol and Tobacco contribute to a lot more deaths... not to mention all the social problems caused indirectly... violence, abuse etc

  • @virtual62, I also have to make an apology. I think I replied to the wrong person. But the rest of your comment i agree with. Marijuana is and always will harmless if used appropriately.

  • WHO IS CENSORING ME ?

  • How are you restricting certain comments ? ( keywords )

  • Is this a open forum or one sided view point !

  • Comment removed

  • This is restrictive representation !

  • IT WONT LET ME COMMENT

  • legalize!

  • I wish I could see this on a billboard in my state. That would be awesome.

Ignore skirbyr, he's just trying to screw with you.

  • Why is the audio not working? Anyone else having this problem with this posting? Oh, and yes, I made sure my audio is working fine.

Go NORML. I support and I hardly ever smoke. Proud member of MINORML and soon, TXNORML!

  • It's an ad for an electronic billboard - no sound

  • Love it! So true. Tax it, regular its usage, there will be laws applied to it - no driving while under the influence, and a limit to how high you can be...that might prove difficult, but it can be done! :)

  • @skirbyr ...quite the contrary, we are building steam. The only scum, liers and filth I see are the politicians fighting against their own people. United we stand, with Mr. Nelson on our side.

  • Skirbyr, did it ever occurred to you that illegal drug dealers are profiting from the fact that their products are illegal?!

If you want to make them go away you have to pull their economic base away - which happens to be the prohibition.

Without that they had to compet with legal pharmacies - guess which business the customer choses.

  • @Sideshowbobx so true. South American cocaine fields keep people in WORSE conditions than black slaves were kept in the 19th century. Legalisation would mean those drug lords would be out of business overnight and those people freed.

Listen to: Immortal Technique - Peruvian Cocaine - that illuminates the issue quite well.

  • @skirbyr YOU are so fucking stupid.. Marijuana is not dangerous at all its way less dangerous than alcohol and tobacco, yeah so what its 10x more dangerous but you only smoke one-three a day where as my step-dad smokes 4 packs of cigs a day thats like 80 cigarettes or = to 8 joints, also THC doesn't fuck up your judgement like alcohol does. I hope your brainwashed ass gets shot.

  • @Restokilerah fuckin right pal, i agree, im so glad there is stoners like u out there who actually know their shit about bud ;) nice speech matey - happy tokin =D

  • @Restokilerah actually pot has never been linked to any illness, or know to case any smoke related deaths (from pot, yes some people smoke both pot and cigs and have contracted a smoke related illness, but never from pot alone) most of the horrible illness caused by cigs is from the chemicals used to engineer the tobacco and make it grow faster and larger. which is why im not for the legalization of pot, just decriminalization, i dont want to see it fall into the hands of big tobacco

  • @Restokilerah Tobacco being less dangerous but legal does not make marijuana itself right. I believe we should ban both tobacco and marijuana, but to each his own, I guess....

  • @josepharte, I think i see where you are coming from (Harm Prevention maybe?). But people who enjoy smoking Tobacco or Marijuana will continue to do so whether its legal or not. So why not let people do as they please when it comes to smoking?

  • @Restokilerah learning how to disagree without being disagreeable is a debate tool that we of the marijuana legalization movement need to adhere to wholeheartedly. We must remember that this movement is about dispelling the lies and bringing people the truth. Insulting people will never persuade them to HEAR your argument. Injecting an insult into an otherwise logical debate is like spitting in the face of someone who u want to respect your ideas and opinions and who u want joining the movement

  • Good one, then why does THC in reality lower the blood pressure as well as heart rate?

Beer is also causing hallucinations which go to the extend to make a "volumenous" woman appear slim and attractive. And it raises bloodpressure and heart rate, as well as cause agression and lack of selfcontroll.

Get real or stay in our basement. please.

  • Voluminous women. I like it.

We're all staying in your basement, per your suggestion.

  • If you don't like taxes or socialism you should be for legalization. Tax dollars fund this useless drug war to include jail costs. Hemp crops can produce thousands of products from paper and cloth to biofuel. It is best barrier cash crop between storm water run off and fresh water sources. Mercury and other heavy metals can be filtered out by using a hemp crop. It takes less farm land out of production reducing gov. mandated non-production easements which are bankrupting small farms.

  • No taxation on pot. "Sin" taxes are for things like alcohol and tobacco, which demonstrate daily what effect they can have on people. Pot doesn't have those problems. Don't besmirch the good weed with that filth. Pot should not be taxed like alcohol and tobacco.

  • watch The Union: the Business Behind Getting High

  • Dr. Liu ... "THC can kill Cancer Cells"

Dr. Melamede ... "Cannabinoids kill Cancer Cells"

Dr. Di Marzo ... "THC exhibits anti - tumor effects on various Cancer Cell types"

Dr. Guzman ... "THC can promote the autophagic death of human & mouse Cancer Cells"

Dr. Mechoulam ... "we gave THC oil drops 400 times to children 1 -13 years old with Cancer & prevented vomiting & nausea 100%"

  • Let me ask you something: Besides the adults that grow it and sell it, where do children get weed from?

You can promote weed all you want as some miracle cure, but don't promote the community.

For every legit "alternative" that chemicaly dependant people are inclined to gravitate towards, it is still a form of escapism.

  • @JimisJames

Now that I totally agree with. While there are MANY benefits to be had, economically and such, the youth is overbearing in it's revolutionary ways and it totally misinformed about the real history and political state of this nation, and as a result, we have too many younger people screwing up by smoking too much marijuana and not caring enough about their education and about society and politics, much less history and culture.

But, in the economic state we are in now...

  • Jim,

On the driving thing, and don't ask me how I know this but, trust me, it's tested and true.

Law enforcement can spot somebody high on marijuana through a cornicopia of subtle tests, including fingers, eyes, jaw, forehead, etc, lets not get into that.

And honestly, before the debate of marijuana being dangerous comes into play, there have to be numbers, of any marijuana induced accidents or mortalities, of which there are zero. Can't say the same about alcohol and perscription drugs though.

  • Legalization would help keep marijuana out of the hands of children, or at least it would make it more difficult for them to get it. Most teenagers say that it is easier for them to get marijuana simply because it is unregulated. Black market dealers do not care who gets it as long as they make money. There should be laws in place to regulate it, to keep this from happening. If it's as bad for you as you say it is, you should at least agree that this would be the right step simply for the kids

  • @saalad

That's true. If it were regulated and sold in stores, it would be less available for kids because the production would be more profitable through legal means. Also the fact that our economy would be profiting from the taxes on it, rather than the profits going to cartels, is a plus.

  • No support

  • You guys are out of your fucking minds. These guys will make more money than the taxes coming in. They know that it is habit forming. Don't trust these high times ass holes. They are about their pockets, not social improvement.

    FUCKING LIARS

  • @JimisJames

Gonna disagree with you there buddy. Hightimes invests in many non-profit organizations which majorly benefit the underprivileged and downtrodden. Hightimes itself will make almost zero profit from the legalization, as their popularity would fall as would magazine sales. If you would like to know what you're talking about before you make more comments, please research formal studies on the economic and health benefits of legalized marijuana.

  • @philonetic

Hightimes helps advertise and get performers for many world wide charities. Please don't trash something just because your opinion(as biased and misinformed as it may be) goes against what they support.

  • Don't play self promotion with me. Everyone knows what weed really is. IT FUCKS YOU UP. plain and simple. People say shit like poeple never die from weed , or people never crash cars from weed. The truth is there is no test that can tell you that you are high in the moment. Weed stats are so bloated. All your studies won't change what weed is, and what people really want weed for.

DON'T TALK AT ME LIKE I AM STUPID

  • @JimisJames

Please read below at the studies posted. Truth is, there is rigorous training that law enforcement officers have to go through, including the signs to identify somebody under the influence of THC. There has never been a reported mortality caused by marijuana.

There are many formal studies that support the real effects of medicinal marijuana, whereas there are zero formal studies done showing any negative effects of THC whatsoever.

  • @JimisJames

Like I tell everyone else, show me the FACTS, give me some numbers, anything that supports your biased claims.

  • @JimisJames

And I don't think you're stupid, you're well spoken, but I do believe you're misinformed and haven't taken the effort to do your own research on the subject.

  • Fact is, tons of people smoke weed and drive cars, but you can't tell if they are high if there is an accident becuase there is no test. Are you telling me people who get in car accidents high will tell the cops they are high while they are driving?

  • @JimisJames Do you have any facts? I do not disagree that accidents can happen while under the effects, however no one is implying that you should use the substance then drive. There would be laws in place just as there are for alcohol, and you cannot argue that marijuana impairs you as much as being drunk, or you clearly have never been high. The same laws should pertain to driving while high as driving while drunk, I agree, but I can assure you that no one has ever died from cannabis alone

  • This also reminded me... Driving in general is more harmful that using cannabis. There are many irresponsible drivers that cause many accidents. You'd be outraged if it was no longer legal to drive. The only difference is that people living now would know the difference, as cannabis was made illegal long before most of us were born.

  • Asian women are a greater threat than a stoner in a VW. =X

  • @philonetic hahahaha

  • I forget what comic it was but...

What would they call Homeland Security in the old USSR? ;)

  • @philonetic ooooooh dunno, tell me!

  • @saalad

    Fatherland Security xD

In Germany it would've been the SS 0.0

  • @philonetic lol

  • @saalad

Global Warming and Global Governance <--btw, rrrrrreeeeeaaallllyyy good, best cameos ever, has one of the lead author of the IPCC saying global warming is fake.

  • Not fake, but not caused by anthropogenic gasses (not man made)

  • @philonetic Yea I read about that. There's an 80min vid on google video, watching that now, is this it?

  • @saalad

    i cant post a link for it - -'

But yeah, sorry, I messed up the name, its Global warming OR Global Governance.

  • JimisJames you are ignored person without much knowledge!

  • I do believe that high times has their own agendas, and they do look to make money from this as well. You also say that it is habit forming, the only reason for this is that it provides relief. There is nothing in marijuana that makes the user seek this other than personal enjoyment, and that boils down to self control. The people who will abuse drugs are going to abuse them anyway, that's something you have to realize.

  • @saalad

I think some of the personal enjoyment is acceptable.

If someone who is depressed and suicidal smokes marijuana, would we condemn them for smoking a plant?

Or if someone having smoked a joint after chemo therapy get relief from nausea and headaches after smoking, should we deny them only to persecute others?

There are many moral implications that can be debated, but the "fact" in my mind is that the benefits of legalizing a -plant- that grows -naturally-, FAR outweigh ANY negatives.

  • But marijuana isn't habit forming ahahhahahah

  • It's a stretch to say we are "out of our fucking minds" when we are the only ones thinking clearly and rationally. Do you have any legitimate reasons to dislike the use or users of cannabis?

  • @saalad

Yeah, any reasons besides it's how someone else taught him to think?

  • Let's stay on base.

During a time of great economic turmoil, the benefits of marijuana legalization could prove fruitful. The taxation of legalized marijuana sales could bring $1.4 billion in revenue per state. This in turn could be reinvested into the education system.

It gives relief for AIDS patients from the pain and nausea caused by the onset of an AIDS induced infection. Patients suffering from AIDS/HIV speak of the substantial medical benefits realized from their use of marijuana.

  • It's also used in the treatment of MS, cancer, seizures, migraines, nausea, glaucoma, turrets and OCD, ADD and ADHD, IBS and Chrohns, alzheimers, even PMS, and many other ailments.

  • A 1997 review of 6059 marijuana-related articles in the medical literature revealed 194 titles on antiemetic properties, 56 on glaucoma, 10 on multiple sclerosis, 23 on appetite, and 11 on palliative or terminal care.

These studies showed the benefits of marijuana over other medicines commonly used with these ailments.

  • I personally use it for relief from pain from a bad surgery, anxiety and depression that was inherited, as well as the constant nausea I have. I smoke it to get high, and probably don't have as much need as many of the other ailments you have listed, but I SHOULD have every right to use it at my will. It's just hard for me to understand why people are so opinionated when they simply do not have any knowledge of the substance itself. Thanks for posting.

  • @saalad

Too bad we aren't on opposite sides of this, could've been a good debate haha.

I think I'm done for now, until skir posts something relevant anyways.

    Stay safe out there.

  • @philonetic Unfortunately I was on the opposite side until I was 21. I was completely blind, and had believed everything I was told until I had decided to try it myself. I am glad I did because it helped me with a lot of problems I was having at the time. I really appreciate your responses as well, because as you can see many people are blind as I once was.

  • @saalad

You know what they say, ignorance is bliss.

I'm no better than the next guy but I am glad that there are people such as yourself, who can retain their integrity in adversity and are well articulated.

People that have never seen the hardships alleviated by something as simple as marijuana, or those who refuse to open their eyes, are the likes of that which will be the downfall of our freedoms and sovereignty, because they refuse to see things from a different perspective.

    Cheers mate.

  • 1890: Sir Russell Reynolds, Queen Victoria's physician, writes in the Lancet that he prescribed cannabis for the Queen to relieve period pains. He later writes: 'It is one of the most valuable medicines we possess.'

  • Opponents of medical marijuana mention that other drugs are available for each of these disorders. Nevertheless, people differ. We have multiple treatments for almost every human problem. Some patients do not respond well to other medications and need medical marijuana to alleviate their symptoms. Many pharmaceutical drugs create aversive side effects that these patients cannot endure. In addition, medical marijuana is often markedly cheaper than these other medications.

  • Concern over marijuanas impact on respiratory health is easily remedied. There are no links between marijuana use and lung cancer or emphysema. The associations between smoked marijuana and symptoms like coughing and wheezing can be remedied with the vaporizer. The vaporizer heats the plant so that active ingredients boil off into a fine mist but the plant itself never ignites. The mist contains no tars or noxious gases, making respiratory complications a thing of the past.

  • And recent studies show that the short term memory loss and long term congnitive reduction effects from marijuana in an avid smoker are far less than those of a less-than-social drinker. i.e., insignificant.

  • You anti-pot jokers are a laugh riot. Our country is in a fuckin economic shitheap. Congress should be orgasmic about the prospect of legalizing ganja. Oh dear..its just soo taboo and dangerous ...no way! lets just continue to tax the fuk out of every hard working American and reward the our white collar CRIMINALS and proceed with a full depression. Its a golden egg bitches! Guess they wont see how trivial pot is till we are all obliterated in a nuclear exchange.

  • our country blow up the world trade center and they did it cuz they would make money bring oil and killing saddam it was an excuse more likely stop watching ur tv is called an idiot box for something they saw we were going on a recession so they needed an excuse to kill innocent life's just for them people that drive there 8 cylinder cars or suv lol ur the onces responsible for this war

  • I'd also like to point out that I am more than willing to hear the negative side-effects. You just must also realize that I am also willing to debunk them, as most of them are propaganda, and are just plain not true.

  • As am I, I'd more than like to hear a factual argument in his case.

  • terrorists were responsable, but we needed to invade iraq, the region posed to much of a threat, to the us without going unchecked, you wont understand that

  • Posed a threat to whom? Do you even remember why we invaded? Weapons of mass destruction, of which there were none. You're so off base skir.

Back to the point, I can post many studies from educational and government sites, advocating the benefits of marijuana.

What've you got? Show me, and not just more opinion.

    I'm afraid you cannot.

  • haha nice lolz terrorists not even our old president can say there names right nor say the country name.hahah tells u a lot that ur just a person that try to see the good of stuff blame them cuz they don't do nothing what does Iraq invasion have to do with anything?? if we live next to the country then yes but theyre almost half way around the world it was just for oil.

  • That is probably the most stupidest comment I have ever heard. Iraq did have wmd they used it on there own people America went to get rid of them which there was none found. And may i ask who this innocent lifes are that you speak of

  • 2 things first off all heard of punctuation? if so please re-read ur comment second make sense, when you write. i don't know what the hell your trying to say also "And:" is not a word u start with all i hear is blah blah. i am an idiot don't know how to spell and don't know what i am trying to make sense about. So when you get all those checked out please come back, i will gladly read it again thanks.

  • Sorry bout that. Being In Iraq is an important thing for the American needs. The Iraqi people need us over there to push the dictatorship out of there which was a success. They are now forming there own government based on what they want. I also wanted to know who is wasting there innocent lives.

  • i think 9/11 was done by the government to keep people scared is another way to do inflation cuz they knew this was coming

  • they weren't facts they were just copys and paste of ur dam site meaning ur not legit just a dam toll that keeps saying off topic facts and dont' prove ur statements

  • They in fact weren't copy and pastes. Let's debate, I beg you.

  • ur free when u pay taxes that ur freedom if u don't u will be in debt and if this was the so called land of the free why can we do this why can we smoke pot why are we a democratic country lol cuz freedom is a word that can be emphasis in different ways

  • i gave you facts, if you choose to ignore them, that shows your ignorance, not mine

  • You've given zero facts.

    None whatsoever.

Give some evidence to support your claims.

I you say I robbed a bank, nobody will listen to you without witness or evidence. Same goes here, and you've produced NOTHING. Stop being ignorant and go do some research, then come back with FACTS.

  • If you say*

  • your dumbing yourself down by only stating pro marijuana statements, without even trying to listen to others negative opinions, thats a sighn of low temperment, along with iq. sounds like most dictatorships! your right ts it, well i dont think so buddy

  • I would more than welcome a serious debate on the matter. But fact is, you've provided nothing to support your claims, whereas I've given much to support my own. Until you realize that your opinion holds no weight I don't think you'll discontinue your ignorant rants.

I highly suggest you stop embarrassing yourself, and get some facts.

  • You probably think the Nazi's were communist, and that Saddam is responsible for 9/11.

  • You're absolutely wrong. I've challenged you to provide facts on the negative side effects. You proposed that it 1. contains thc (duh?) 2. Increases heart rate (sure) 3. Increases blood pressure (wrong, it decreases) and 4. that it is a hallucinogen (true). These are the only arguments you have stated, none of which are really supporting your cause.

  • lol silence is golden duct tape is silver hahah

  • haha are u really free>??? u say freedom but are u ?

  • Freedom to not speak publicly without a permit.

Freedom to go to jail for spreading opinion that differs from the democratic view.

Freedom to go to jail for 15 years for smoking a joint.

Freedom to be uneducated and spout nonsense in serious debate.

    Freedom to be...American.

I'm just happy there are some good ones like saalad, because people like skirbyr make be fearful for our nations future.

  • make me*

  • well thank god your not in charge, in this country i will never stop giving my opinion, weather its right or wrong, its called freedom!

  • It's called misinformation, and it's rampant.

Just FYI, theres only 1 right still active in our Bill of Rights, not that I'd expect you to know anything about that.

Read EO12919 (thats Executive Order 12919)

Better yet, finish your argument first and give us some numbers or studies.

  • btw ur right but some state laws contradict the bill of right
