Obama being elected is definitely a step in the right direction, but unfortunately, you have no idea how bad it is for Blacks in housing, education, median income, etc., because if you did you want make such an ignorant statement in reference to Obama--ARROGANCE OF IGNORANCE is what you are suffering from.
If white people in states with very little black people voted overwhelmingly for Obama, then why do we need affirmative action. Obama got a higher percentage of white people than Kerry or Gore. So doesn't that mean that affirmative action is unnecessary?
