Ok, how many times does that happen? How many times has a player's career been ended by a fast ball to the face? I was under the impression that the pitcher didn't want to hit the player because it looks bad on their stats and the batter gets a walk...also, baseball players are atheletes? lol They run 10 minutes a game. And if they hit a homerun they get to walk. The outfielders have to move a lot but besides that any fat, overweight guy can play this game.

yeah, we all know every baseball player is good at stealing bases and running. Baseball is more technique than physical prowess. Don't sit there and tell me that a baseball players needs as much cardiovascular endurance as an American football player or a soccer player. Sprinting from 1st base to 2nd base isn't exactly like running a football field.

So, its technique and not atheleticism, right? that's your point? BECAUSE THAT WAS MY POINT TOO!. Calling a golfer or a baseball player an athelete is stretching it. You don't need to be in great physical shape to hit a homerun or play as a catcher. I'd like to see that fat, sack of shit Babe Ruth play football or soccer. Or just run 5 kilometers. Or any baseball player for that matter. Some sports demand physical conditioning. Others not so much. Sorry baseball fans!
