Its not cheap especially aluminium parts. To do this deliberately in this economic situation of having to look after every pound, or dollar is just crazy. @revorocks123 wouldn't help, the battery holder on the hyper 7's aren't the best and the often fall out, no power means the servos stay at what ever point there were at at the time, fail safes need power to work.

it easy to fix though, you just need a cable tie around the batter pack and the battery holder.

@revorocks123 they don't realy work, because they much work against the servo resistance. basicly a strong spring needs a strong servo, which has more resistence (even with no power they are rather stiff)

so they basicly cancel each other out, they do however help in getting the throttle off quicker which is good if your going fast in small areas, but other that that i found them dead weight.

great little cars though, i have one, its about 2 or 3 years old now but it costs almost nothing in terms of repairs and i've done jumps like these many times until the ramp broke, got a good 50 or 60 feet of air enough for front flips at least.

@revorocks123 the hyper don't break very often, in the last 2 years i've run the hyper for a good 4 gallons of fuel and all i have done to replace the bearings after running it on a beach.

i haven't had to take it apart for a good 6 months.

I have run about 25L of nitro through my hyper7 when motor died I converted it to Brushless and its still going hard.

It proves you don't have to spend big to own awesome RC.
