Mentality is only partial. Only good combinations of strength, size, skills, techniques, and disciplines will give any association football team an overall advantage on the field thereby greater that team's winning slot. And by the way, we are talking about Japan winning its first Women's World Cup so unless your wife is part of the winning team, we don't really care. Finally, we don't really care whether you married to a Japanese and/or live in Japan. Capisce? Comprende?

Mentality can happen to anyone, Japanese team or not, it doesn't matter. There's no whadda woulda coulda. Japan are smart enough to build on skills, disciplines, and techniques while USA only focused strength and size. Plus we're too cocky and we lost! End of story.
