  • If you can, look for BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards online. It must be available somewhere. The Dubs (with Patsy) appeared live having won the achievement award. They sang the Ewan McCall song "Dirty Old Town," appropiately enough as the show was broadcast from Salford, Manchester. Not a patch on Luke I know, but incredible they are still delighting in 1912.

  • I saw the dubliners perform this song in a concert in Croke Park in Dublin in 1970 it brings back some happy memories of days gone bye
