I work road construction and before I worked it, I thought the same thing. Oh they are lazy, take too long. But after working in it, there is so much work to be done. Its not just pave it up, there is so much work with the gravel and so many tests that you need to pass before it gets paved.

Willing to bet you wouldnt last a week with us. I often go months without a day off and a 12 hour day is average to short.
