Hello Mikey!! I'm new to your channel as well as crocheting. In this video you said your stitching was "single and double crocheting". Could you point me to one of your videos that explains how to acheive the pattern used for this scarf?? Thanks!
i believe i have found what ive been doin wrong! ive only been doing one row of each color, not two of each color. i guess i probably shouldve watched the video closer. lol. thanks!
well i think it may be my base chain because the scarf seems to curl around it, and the chain is kinda tight, so when i tug on it it barely stretches like the rest of the scarf. ill c what i can do 2 my next one 2 try and keep it from curling up. thank u sooo much for the help. and would u happen to have any videos on how to crochet a dishcloth?
ok, so ive finished another one of these scarves using a size k crochet hook. it worked out pretty well but it curls once throughout the whole length of the scarf. should i use an even bigger size crochet hook?
that's kind of dissappointing if you did all that work and it's curling up...
You know I had one do that to me... I ended up sewing both sides together to form like a tube shape... WHen I wear it... all the colours are visible cause I slightly twist it... Sounds like a lousy answer.. but pretty simple instead of scraping it... hmmm I'm not sure what to say or why it's doing that to you.
its in the back. and after i posted my comments on here i did a little research, and one site suggested that i make a looser chain so that it would be easier to go into the first row of stitches and so that it would not curl up. thanks for the help! it is much appreciated:)
hey. i really like your scarf. i tried making one of these, exact same colors and everything, but when it was finished it wasnt straight and flat like a regular scarf. when i picked it up off the ground it went into a spiral, and curled hardcore. could you think of anything that i may have done wrong??
I really like your videos, do you have longer videos for beginners like myself I like hats, scrafs and blankets also I like the throw you made for your sofa plz help me
Your rainbow scarf has inspired me--I'm looking for yarn with just the right gay colors. I'm finding it hard to find the six colors in one brand and type of yarn. What brand did you use, and what specific colors did you use? And does it matter if it's the same manufacturer?
Great job, Love your videos, Im just learning the complicated ones and you are tons of help, thank you for taking the time and who cares if your gay or not, your talent is pure I could only hope to be as good as you one day... Thank you
The original flag had eight stripes from top to bottom: pink (sexuality), red (life), orange (healing), yellow (sunlight), green (nature), turquoise (magic), indigo/blue (serenity), and violet (spirit). Within a year, the flag had shed two of its stripes—pink and violet. According to Gilbert, they "ran out of pink dye." The violet stripe was later taken out to create an even number of stripes on the flag.
Since, many variations of the flag have been created. For instance, a black stripe is added to some symbolizing those lost to AIDS. There are also variations to represent bisexual people, bears and others.
With Religious context comments... I tend not to say anything to anyone about it... They have their views and chances are if they took the time to point out my errors in a religious context, there are no winners in the end but we can agree to disagree if there is a problem.
*w* i loved this scarf!!!

drewwlikesmusic 2 years ago

I had this happen but not with this design. This happens really bad with the Ripple and Zig Zag designs.

I'm thinking maybe it could be the way you are turning the material. On the first stitch (after a turn) where is the string, FRONT OR BACK?

Yep, I am open about it here on You Tube.

just wondering what religon are you?
again no offense
Glinka19 2 years ago
I don't follow any religions. I have a mind set on "The Secret Philosophy" but it's not an organized religion that requires attendance.

Do you really know what the colors mean?
It's God's Promise!!!!!!

I didn't know that... I have a different meaning in my own mind about it. :)

I love it! Although, I tend to make my scarves way too long (like twice that length) so I chuckled when you said you made it a bit long.
