@ahebrawi Hi, this is the description in my Shapeways Shop where you bought those pieces:
"CAUTION: FOUR SPECIAL EDGES ONLY. Anisotropic Cube is a modification of Oskar's Gear Cube that is being sold by Mefferts.com. Buy a Gear Cube and replace four of the gearing edges by these four pieces. The result is ...
These are just the four special pieces. If you want to buy the full puzzle, assembled and sticked, then search the internet for Mefferts and "Gear Cube Extreme"."
@OskarPuzzle Thanks, i was reading over the description on the website and found it. Thanks, i guess i'll get a refund. I wanted the whole cube but and read it wrong. Thanks for your help.
@ahebrawi Sorry for the confusing. However, I suggest that you buy a Mefferts Gear Cube. When you are done with it, you turn it into this puzzle using the four pieces that you bought.
@PippoKiller the shapeways shop only sells the fixed gears and not the whole puzzle, so to need to buy a gear cube, take it apart, then put in the fixed gears instead.
Hi Oskar, I was just wondering what differentiates the Anisotropic Cube and the Mefferts Gear Cube Extreme. I know the Mefferts version is the mass produced version of your Anisotropic Cube, but is there any difference? For example, better mechanisms? I hope you are able to reply and would like to add that your videos are amazing and I admire your work!
@VazaLemmA Mind your language, please. The fact that already several people have reported solving this puzzle indicates that such a high IQ may not be required.
@OskarPuzzle Sorry... You know, it's acctually pretty easy to do it xD I saw the tutorial after that video, so I didn't know if it's a nightmare or dream.
@OskarPuzzle I did solve the mystery! i bought the gear cube from mefferts, and bought the 4 pieces fomr you, and they fit perfectly. it just doesn't look as nice and i need some stickers now. :o
Nice! I wanted to buy the gear cube but everyone was saying that it was very easy to solve so I didn't get it. If this is mass produced, I would love to buy it.
Is it fair to say that the engineering and contruction of the cubes is easier than figuring out the models to solve them? Or do they go hand in hand? It seems to me that there is an underlying relationship to solving all of your fabulously different puzzles.
Im suprised how this is sold at an affordable price. The caution cube is like $300, but the gear cube is sold at an affordable price. Why is the price different here?

Why not call it Deventer's cube. THAT one deserves your name in it.
Oskar, let me say this: because of you and this video I actually bought Gear Cube, the Anisotropic Cube and... Rubik's cube.
I've never even dreamed of buying this "twisty" kind of puzzles, but know I discovered how cool they are.
Thank, really.
ps:damm, you even have a cool name, why not just "Deventer's cube"? In ten years I hope to see you giving interviews to Times or "Late Show". haha!
