@ahebrawi Sorry for the confusing. However, I suggest that you buy a Mefferts Gear Cube. When you are done with it, you turn it into this puzzle using the four pieces that you bought.

@PippoKiller the shapeways shop only sells the fixed gears and not the whole puzzle, so to need to buy a gear cube, take it apart, then put in the fixed gears instead.

Anyways just buy the one at mefferts.

Hi Oskar, I was just wondering what differentiates the Anisotropic Cube and the Mefferts Gear Cube Extreme. I know the Mefferts version is the mass produced version of your Anisotropic Cube, but is there any difference? For example, better mechanisms? I hope you are able to reply and would like to add that your videos are amazing and I admire your work!

Is it fair to say that the engineering and contruction of the cubes is easier than figuring out the models to solve them? Or do they go hand in hand? It seems to me that there is an underlying relationship to solving all of your fabulously different puzzles.
