@AlanMolstad It looks like the motor is running and the rod hes putting his foot on is working as an engaging pully. Like a tension pully on a car belt. The motor is spinning and when he pushes down on the foot control its tightening the belt. The tighter you get the belt the more traction it gains and the faster (up to the engine rpm minus gear ratio) it will get. Simple concept.
