  • This poem is only 41 seconds, but it is amazing!

  • I LOVE your poetry

  • She is very pretty and talented

  • Aww... That was... Just... Beautiful.

  • "don't sit there, you might knock over the pile of confidence i took all day to stack"

    sums me up.

I really wish I could watch her live.

  • I really wish i could have appreciated poetry a lot more when i was younger. It would've been a lot more fun now if I was more experienced with writing and poetry

  • @gummiebaerrs Why not start now? Even children who can't write or spell write awesome poetry! :D

  • SHE WAS FINDING HERSELF.

MY TEACHER IN SPEECH PERFORMED THIS.

  • Wow.

  • I never thought another person could express me better than myself but that was sick

  • So glad I found this. Love..."um, don't sit there, you might knock over the pile of confidence I took all day to stack..."

So glad I found you Sarah Kay. You speak a lot of my words.

  • I love this poem, but I love Sarah Kay's work, so that's no surprise. I wish I could see more but she's one of the poets that seem kind of elusive. It's a shame because she's amazing. I feel like this poem is too familiar for a lot of people, but in the best way possible.

    Post more Sarah Kay!

  • I watched this poem over and over until I finally realized who (what) she was talking to. Beautiful. Simply Beautiful.

  • what is she talking about? I still can't figure out T^T

But yeah I love this poem...

  • She's talking about her identity. At least thats how I percieve it to be.

  • Yeah I figured that out, too. Took me a while...I watched it so many times and finally realized that "herself" is always the last thing she looked for.

    Beautiful poem. Nod nod.

  • Wait...I think I got it...

  • @TeamLondon1

  • she's one of my favorites. and this is, so far, my favorite piece by her.

  • this is mindblowingly amazing, oh man.

  • I dunno what it is about this poem, but I just love it so much. So much in so little.

  • exactely. its short but powerful.
