  • How Long time you get this solo ?

  • Great one check my own solo cover

  • Wow...You even did it on a Les Paul. He did it on a Tele which a hell of alot easier to bend behind the nut. Kudos!!

  • @abbottpublic No, Page definitely did it on a Les Paul.

  • good one!

  • man ,im trying to nail it...it's hard!!I didn't think it was that hard

  • tnx for visiting bro, ur motivation may as well encourage me to post my version.....cheers and peace!

  • you are one of those few lucky ones who could really nail it, i tried a couple of times for this zep solo but i'm too ashamed to post it. Very good, cheers and have fun...... I got some vids posted check if u had time....peace!

  • thanks alot i appreciate it,i checked your vid's they are very good,i think you can play this solo, dont be be ashamed brother, learn it and post it,we are all guitar players trying our best, and thats what counts, keep playing,peace........

  • nice one

  • better, again great job. keep it up man

  • i thought this is one of the better copied solo's I;ve seen on youtube for a long time. good on you man

  • thanks i appreciate it......

  • I think it,s pretty cool...keep on going. Jimmie :)))

  • i appluad you, only thing is when you do the hammering on the G string near the beginning of the solo, i think it sounds better when you just bend the string then what you did here, even though i know that's how jimmy page played it

  • really good though!

  • thanks i appreciate it.

  • sounds better than the original

  • sounded great! ive been trying to nail that solo for a while now and i cant do it nearly as good as u unless i have the tabs in front of me

  • I don't know about that bending behind the nut thing. I've got the tab book and it says to do it, but it doesn't sound right. It doesn't seem like it's possible to bend that not up as high as it is on the record. I just bend the string normally.

  • I disagree, when I personally play the solo, when I was newer to guitar the first part of a solo I ever learned was the first part of this, but when I read the tabs, it said to bend behind the nut and I had no idea what that meant, so I just bent the string normally, and it sounded alright, but not like the album. It wasn't till after I learned what a nut really was, that I realized how to do it, and once I learned how to do it, at the correct timing, it sounded really good.

  • Also Page used really light strings so they were easier to bend like that. I'm guessing that this guys probably using 10's or something.

  • yes i am using 10's............

  • much better than the first one...too much reverb, but excellent job

  • thanks i appreciate it.

  • Excellent. Cool sound too.

  • Very good overall, but the bending behind the nut needs a little work. Instead of trying so hard to push down with the right hand, focus more on what the left hand is doing. Ultimately it's the fret hand that's doing most of the work, but the right hand behind the nut gives you just a little bit more.

  • I like your sound. What amp do you have?

  • its a vox ad30vt valvetronix modeling amp with built in effects, you can get alot of different sounds out of it for a reasonable price.

  • very good. i noticed that in the other version you didnt bend the string behind the nut, but i didnt really notice cause your playing made up for it. 5 stars!

  • Yes Heartbreaker....

  • Nice job fingering the nut (hehehe)!

    but seriously, well done!

  • good job dave man

  • Nice Job man !

  • nice.

  • good show.. bravo
