X, i started playing this game when i saw your videos, and i can give you a little tip. If you ever find a big, big room with a bunch of zombies and a door on the other side, do NOT open that door. A Lich will be inside it. And he will 2-shot you. Also, grind. Grind, grind, grind. It will help you on the later levels if you can kill a dragon with 3 hits.

2: I just realised that when you try to eat something in this game, it says "ITEM cannot be digested. ITEM was put in your inventory." Which means you TRIED to digest them. Yes, my friends, you just pulled that sledgehammer out of your ass.

Oh man, I just ran through an entire floor running away from a Ghost, Red Dragon and a Troll. It was quite experience since you cant exactly hit ghosts with swords, especially not when it keeps paralyzing you and you fall into a spike pit along the way >_<! Thankfully im also worshipping Klaskov, he healed me 4 times during my escape so I am happy face to be out of that floor!

My experience leads me to believe that you get load if you actually do close the game after "save and quit" but get save scum if you save and then try to load without closing the window. The idea being the save option is for when you are doing well and need to do something else, not for you to try and do the same thing over and over. Also, savecumming disqualifies that character from the score board... At least, that's how it seems to work, I could be wrong.

hey x, the only debuff when you get hungry is that you stop regenerating health, so dont worry too much about it.(soul bind , another spell in the necromancy book heals you by killing your minions)

Save Scumming will prevent you from saving to the high scores. It's not a big deal, but I get the feeling the game hates you for it because some players try to save at intervals and reload their savegame if something bad happens (death, curse, etc.).

I'm surprised that there's a Roguelike that offers save scumming as a legitimate option, but it makes sense that it would keep track of how many times you do it. Powder is apparently treating that statistic as a growing mark of shame.

X, save scumming is when you bypass a bad result (ie, your death) by loading up a save before the bad result happened and go on as if nothing happened. This game lets you do that as a feature, letting you reload your guy after death, but it tallies up the amount of times you've done it. I'm pretty sure the more you do it, it belittles you.
