If you look at Senator McCain's face, around 6:42 you see that he is genuinely surprised at Petraeus fainting.
When someone shows raw emotion like that, it's endearing.
It makes it a lot harder to demonize them.
A tactic that politicians should utilize more often.
Also, good on McCain for acting like a normal human, instead of kowtowing for the press, and faking a reaction.

How about you show him respect and address him by his rank and last name correctly. General Patraeus pretty much wrote the book on counter-insurgency operations, his right fore-arm shows the years he has spent in a combat zone, and just recently he took a demotion from CENTCOM commander to Afghanistan Command because everyone knows he is the Man who is going to get the job done along with all the troops under him. It's easy enough to faint under stress. All you have to do is forget to breathe. low grade hyperventilation, or just hold your breath and because of stress you forget you're holding your breath.
Try it yourself! Not hard at all. You get effects similar to a head rush when standing up. (make sure to have a spotter standing by so you don't crack your head open! lol)
