I love the sounds Deryck's guitar makes in this video. Does anyone know what amp settings are needed to achieve that particular distorted effect? I have knobs for treble, middle and bass on my rubbish excuse of an amp.

@TheFuzzywhizz He doesnt use all that much in the way of special settings. Hes got a specially designed seymour duncan pickup, but other than that theyre pretty much normal settings, probably slightly tweaked. I have his guitar, and i get a sound really close to his by putting treble at 10, bass at 5, and mids at 6ish. But every amp is different too. As for Brownsounds guitar, hes using some kind of effect on the solos that i cant really figure out. I think its a slight Wah, but im not sure.

@superfreak1164 Thank you.If you don't mind, I have more questions.The Deryck Whibley Squier Telecaster that's on sale has one Seymour Duncan pickup.However, in almost every live show, Deryck uses a Telecaster Deluxe that looks exactly like the Squier.This Telecaster has 2 humbucking pickups instead of one. I've looked around but I can't find the dual pickup Telecaster Deluxe.Do you have the 2 pickup version or the 1 pickup version.If the former, then could you please tell me where you got it?

@TheFuzzywhizz There is only one version, the single pickup. Because the neck pickup on Derycks guitar isnt used, he disconnected it. I dont really know why he keeps it there, maybe for looks, but he never uses it. So when he was designing the signature model with Fender, there was no reason to put a pickup in there, so they just didnt. It still definitely sounds fantastic though, definitely a great guitar for the price! I highly suggest it if youre a Sums/Deryck fan!!
