Prohibition of anything that is willingly taken into our bodys is illegal without a constitutional amendment. Alcohol needed an amendment to be banned and another to be legalized again. No where in the constitution does it state that the federal Govt can tell us what we can or cannot consume be it drink, food, or drug. @cindybin2001 I have Aspergers syndrome and have used cannabis for 10 years now to treat it. I get high in the process and thoroughly enjoy it. Without it I become withdrawn, unpredictable,obsesive, and suicidal within a week after stopping its use. I'm a Mormon. I'm a pretty avid follower of the religion. There are several passages in one of our canonical books, The Doctrine and Covenants, that indicate that marijuana may not be "all bad".

Prohibition of anything that is willingly taken into our bodys is illegal without a constitutional amendment. Alcohol needed an amendment to be banned and another to be legalized again. No where in the constitution does it state that the federal Govt can tell us what we can or cannot consume be it drink, food, or drug. Without it I become withdrawn, unpredictable,obsesive, and suicidal within a week after stopping its use. I'm a Mormon. I'm a pretty avid follower of the religion. There are several passages in one of our canonical books, The Doctrine and Covenants, that indicate that marijuana may not be "all bad".

And even the medical users will cuss me out and/or put me down for saying we shouldn't use drugs to get high. People need to WAKE UP and grow up and set an example and take a stand. Absinthe can't really be enjoyed, but still, people buy bottles of it that contains 80% ethanol which is essentially poison... @cindybin2001 No. It's not hard to stop smoking pot. I just went for a month without it to see if I could. It was a breeze. So it's not addictive. I have never touched another drug apart from alcohol. I do not smoke cigarettes. So it's not a gateway drug.
