They went under because most of the managers were from Best Buy. Also the managers would sell the employees open box items at an even larger discount, then those employees would return it to another Circuit City at the original marked down price thus collecting a profit. People are so dumb.

you know, the reason they went out of business i believe is because of their unreasonable prices. i would walk in there and look at a cable for $30 and then walk into walmart and see the same cable for $15. people are more avid consumers and are always looking for the best prices. i remember paying $40 bucks for a belkin printer cable there. i later saw a "printer cable" for $2 dollars somewhere else. sure its not belking but since that time i said never again circuit city fuck you
