good video man i was born and raised in Portland Maine and when i turned 13 we moved to Knoxville and i haven't been back to visit due to lack of money but i miss it very much
Why do people always bring up Portland Head Light House when the subject of Portland Maine comes up? It's not even in Portland for god sake it's in Cape Elizabeth. People from out of state must think Portland Head IS the city of Portland!
The company I work for is moving to Portland Maine from NYC I will be living there starting in April. I'm so excited to get out of the armpit I live in now. This is my last broiling NYC summer!!!!!! I love you Maine.
The best ever from Portland was Mildred Elizabeth GILLARS! Before I knew her, I thought, that Portland was in Oregon and didn't know, that Portland is (at least) twice ...
Do you know the names of the ships at 7:20 , 4:02 and 4:21 ? and great shot of the Spring Point Pilot Boat at 4:17 ! This is an amazing video, it should be on a TV documentary...Terrific job! Very professional! :D
@rl1111rl Dude... you are the first who realized it .. awesome .. It took you guys almost 3 years .. lol.. you rock ..I subscribe you !! I thought nobody will figure after I realized finally !

I was just on vacation in portland for 2 weeks! It was a small city wanting to be big!!! Not a lot to do boston is a much better place to be also a lot bigger i did stay in manchester nh and nashua nh for 3 nights tons of fun I thought it had more of a real urban feel not fake like portland. portland did have some nice restaurants though some of the best ive been to in recent times
Sorry you wasted your time. Perhaps you should contact Forbes magazine, and have them redo their rankings.
BTW, Portland doesn't want to be big; Portland wants to be Portland. Most folks here would hate to see Portland ruined by becoming another Boston (or worse, Boston-lite).
I suspect you didn't find what you were looking for here. If you found it in Boston, great.
I was born and grew up in portland and the older I got you really think how beautiful it is and all the memories. I fished all the spots shown and still do. Thanks for showing this and I just might be going striper fishing tomorrow. thank you agan.

The view of the city skyline from Back Cove/Baxter Blvd is nice. You should have added that to the video. Otherwise, nice job!
