I used to think alekhine was the best closely followed by fischer, but after an exhaustive study of kasparov, alekhine, capablanca, botvinnik, smyslov, tal, lasker, tartakover, petrosion, korchnoi, karpov, bronstein, kramnik, anand, , games that took me 7 long years. (1877 games!) i am of the opinion that gary had in his prime the same type of energy, fire, and imagination (not to mention his enormous risk taking) of the titans of the past, and for me, GARY KASPAROV is the greatest of them all.
R.I.P. Alekhine. You were one of the best and most creative chess players of all time. it was a tragedy for the chess world when your life was cut short. I would have loved to see how your brilliant mind would've performed against Fischer and Spassky in their prime.

This queen sacrifice would be difficult for me to see if i were black, so its somewhat understandible that saemish missed it, but It would not be so hard for me to find if I were playing white, especially in standard time control, in about 5 minutes i would work out all the relevant variations. For world class players I tihnk this is the equivalent of a blunder on saemish's part...most of the time, BOTH players would see the idea in advance so it would never occur.
You're a fucking idiot. But you're right about what one thing: "it would not be so hard" for someone like you to lose his queen. I'm sure you do it all the time.
Wow! A winning queen sacrifice is pretty much the holy grail of chess in my opinion. I think there is a Tal game with a bizarre queen sacrifice that gave him a winning position, though it was not as direct as this one.
This is fuking brutal

is worth to say that both were playing without looking to the board that makes alekhine's combination more spectacular
