It's interesting that this was Tim Curry's breakthrough role in all movie history. When this was being filmed, Tim said that he didn't expect to be in much after RHPS was filmed, since he thought it was going to be his first and last film as a main character in any movie. But, it was the very opposite. Before seeing RHPS, I'd remember Tim from Clue, Home Alone 2, Stephen King's It, and the 1982 version of Oliver Twist that aired on CBS.

Saw this movie for the first time a couple months back. It was a midnight screening at my local theatre, which happens every Saturday, so I decided to check it out. WOW. This movie (along with the audience participation) is the single weirdest experience I have EVER had in my LIFE.
