  • This feels really 'organic', somehow, compared to other baroque pieces. Definitely a masterpiece...

  • Grande Fasch !!!, un genio indiscutible.

  • Is this the whole symphony, sir?

  • @PaulThePuppetier

    Yes, sir!

  • Is the title of this concerto the good one? Because I searched it in CD and I did not find it... Can anyone give me any references of CD in which I can find this concerto, I litterally fell in love with it!

    Thanks so much theprof!

  • i thought that this piece was lost from the archives ??

  • really beautiful!

in the period 1680-1760 a lot of titanic baroque music was producted! even 'minor' artists were so great!

  • Yes!!! =)

  • Beautiful concerto - and a lovely portrayal of Il Colloseo! I visited Rome, not long after the Chernobyl accident, and my wife & I felt as though we had the city to ourselves - no rude American tourists clogging the streets!

Thank you for posting both the concerto AND the painting.

  • Hey amigo, as far as I know Mexico IS American :-)

(Actually, I too love travelling without rude Italians clogging the streets!!!)

  • Mexico IS American, yes, but "Central-ly" located within!

    Thanks again, prof!

  • @theprof1958 Any reflective persosn gets allergic to certain qualities of his own countryment that keep slapping in the face over and over. In my country the mellifluous abundance of the superficiality simply boggles the mind.
