The album "Alabama Ass Whuppin'" has a great version of the song that explains its origin. It's worth buying the album for this one song (though it has a good version of "Love Like This" as well...

i have the dvd "live at the 40 watt". it has this song on it, but hood tells a long story about the song. if i learn how to rip clips of dvds ill post it. the dvd also has hood's story about dead drunk and naked aswell. and some other great stuff.
